How in any way is it a failure? Its a family coaster..
Yes, but the fact that it wasn't marketed as such led to many people being dissapointed because they were expecting something more thrilling. ;)

Do: front row, far right hand side first; and then back row, far left hand side... I could spend ages explaining why, but just do it! :D

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

Stealth and Saw...

He didn't mean physically vertical (although Stealth is), He just meant that they have 2 rides with some emphasis on vertical angle.

Re: Alton Towers : February 2013

Ok I will do! I'm only starting to step up to the big rides because I rode on Air during Scarefest this year! So I think Nemesis will be fun! :) It took me quite a few visits to the park before I went on Oblivion. I always chickened out - til eventually I got the guts to do it, and I knew what I wa...

Spoke to my dear mother on the phone last night... and it turns out that my first coaster was Casey Jr at Disneyland Paris. :D

A small edition to the carrage but you know on swarm you get the video of you onride have some of them on the oblivion cars so you can see your face after you hang over the drop etc This was done a few years ago... although it evidently wasn't very successful from Towers' persprctive. :) http://www...

Re: The Future of the Blade

This could sound like the stupidest idea ever... So.. The only reason thunder looper was removed was because of something about 'No rides over tree height' wasn't it? So why dont we chuck Blade in MB, and bring thunder looper back? well.. a new one? Told you it was stupid. Right, I'm going to start...

Re: Ideas & Suggestions

or ERT. Hmm, TPR managed to arrange some ERT on their trip in 2010... so it might be doable! (we would have to have a fairly sizeable group though, and would have to let AT know numbers etc. quite far in advance...) Also, TPR are a global community who might well have a chance of persuading people ...

Re: Your ideal closed Season "To-Do" List...

If I had one more wish it would be to have the Wraiths making more frequent appearances in the Dark Forest. Ooh yes! I forgot about those guys... they should really be placed around Th13teen in the woods. (as shown in the adverts) The natural forest has reclaimed the area thoroughly now, and it rea...

Re: Your ideal closed Season "To-Do" List...

Enclose the submission trains and have music/lighting effects inside. What an interesting idea! :D Can imagine that would work really well with the unusual motion of the ride, good thinking! We can't expect many more other jobs this closed season, as the majority of the budget is going on SW7. But ...

Re: Best Merlin Flume Ride?

Can we class the bubbleworks as a merlin flume? Because I'd say the CLASSIC bubbleworks is up there with the best! It has a lift hill... so it should count! :D PROOF: http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/pimages/Chessington_World_of_Adventures/Theme_Park_Reviews_2010_UK_Trip/chessington_19.jpg

Re: Blade to Mutiny Bay, but what to replace it?

But is there any Flat you think would fit nicely size and theme wise into FV? An Intamin ZacSpin could fit in there very well I think. I have heard they are great rides too! In principle that's a very good idea! It would be nice to see a new layout/arrangement from Intamin, one that utilises length...

Repair/Replace the Bookworm... He looks more like the possessed child's toy from a bad horror movie at the moment. :P

If I was a three year old kid I would be far more scared than stimulated/amused by him.

Re: Your Very First Rollercoaster!

I can't remember my first coaster but my first inversion was on Shockwave at Brean Leisure Park... (formerly at Flamingoland and Pleasure Island as Crazy Loop) It's a really dodgy Pinfari TL-59, I rode it on a school trip and thought it was great at the time! However I rode it earlier this year and ...
