Re: Alton Woodie

The woodie was very much out & back with 2 lifts I believe - but I cannot easily follow the image on the TT page to see track elevations. This could be a bit more tricky then first thought!

Re: Alton Woodie

I am going to have a look at this - but cross referencing the birds eye plan onto google maps hows a better more rounded view of where this coaster was going to go from and to - it also helps that google maps still have Corkie on there as a point of reference. I am having a bit of trouble reading th...

Re: Alton Woodie

This might help. http://old.towerstimes.co.uk/history/plans/woodie.htm Thats the ticket! I just think that the woodie would have been awesome - but unfortunately no one would ever get to ride it. I don't think RCT3 could handle the terrain and as I am a NL novice I am unsure whether that would be a...

Re: Alton Woodie

Maybe if Boz reads this then he could help?

There are plans availiable on the TT site - one is a cross section of the terrain I believe?

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Might have been mentioned in the 25 pages I don't have time to read through..... ....but anyone else notice the indoor section before the first lift.....after the barrel roll there is a "station" kind of platform to the left but more interesting is the "HA HA HA" in big letters o...

Alton Woodie

Hi All,

I am just starting out with NoLimits but have been using RCT since the first installment.

Anyway, has anyone ever recreated the proposed cross-valley woodie for Alton at all?

Just thought it would be a cool project for someone to undertake if there isn't one already!

Re: The 'How busy will it be?' Topic

No going to be able to make it up form Portsmouth until 1st October.

Am I right in thinking that this is going to be quiet?

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Long time reader (since Air construction) and very very infrquent poster. I have been looking at the MI7 update and the first lift hill does start an aweful long way away from the station. I know, logically, we have seen all pieces being put into place but I can't help but think we are missing some...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Some kind of supply to that kiosk possibly?

Small hot dog seller etc would need a gas and/or water supply surely?

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Long time reader (seriously long time) but first time poster. I think its becoming more obvious now that if there is to be a SE it will appear after the flat bit of track in the first lift hill trench. Can someone get a screen shot of the game trailer where the train passes that bit of the ride? It ...
