Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

The Smiler in the snow, anyone? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BGHx_SqCcAEMUG8.jpg:large That is the pic I've been waiting for. It shows the newly built section of the ride, zoomed out, clearly. (The snow is a bonus!) However, the snow has not been cleared in many areas, so it may affect construction ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Happy to see them work on the first drop like I thought. Can't wait for it to be done and see the twisty ride in real life in July.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I think that part of track closest to the picture is not part of the sea serpent roll which has its dive loop further along into the area dug out, that part of track closest thats up is actually for the other dive loop. Are you serious? That's obliviously the Sea Serpent roll. Knowing it lays in th...

I have a feeling and I sure we will see a zero g-roll in a bunny hopn, but not in the middle, is similar to inverted drop !!,

I hope no way in the world. I Hope on some sort of airtime in the ride those are the only spots that provide it.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I think it's a mistake. Remember 5:14 and I just read on the Towersstreet facebook about a 14 looping mug.  ;) It makes me belive there are just 14 inversions in the ride. :D

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Well there is a difference in the feeling of freedom and vulnerability between the 3 types. Sit Down: You have the safe feeling of a steady floor beneath your feet and only have to worry on whats comes from above you. Most times you feel completely safe, like Th13teen's trains. Floorless: You feel l...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

There are a lot of inversions (manly dive loops, Immelmann's and inclined loops)  that don't reach the 180 degrees. But they inverted enough to be classed as a inversion.  ;) The Smiler's knot has 4 inversions. :D

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

This are the current stages of all the inversions : 1. Indoor heart-line. (Completed) [color=orange]2. Inverted drop. (Half) 3. Dive loop. (Completed) 4. Dive loop. (Nothing) 5. Bat-wing (right). (Completed) 6. Bat-wing (left). (Completed) 7. Camel-back into In-line. (Supports) 8. Twisted drop. (Hal...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

SW now stands for Slow Working lol Anyway there 11 months now since they started to take the black hole tent down and another 2 months to go. The transformers ride at Universal Studios is nearly finished and that's only taken 8 to 9 months to build from start to grand opening. I just hope this coas...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

That double barrel roll looks sweet! Is that the one that lead back into the break run? If we should believe the plans, then yes. ;) Great to see all this work. I'm very exited to ride this crazy coaster. :D Construction is still very far behind but at least picking up the pace alot more, although ...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I dunno I wouldn't say the dive loops are the secrets because when you scan the woman's face for the advertising picture it shows a 3d image of the ride with the dive loops but not the sea serpent roll. Think about it. The Seaserpent roll is called in the game Pretzel+dive loops if you think logic ...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

@ Clayj: Inversion 13 was confirmed in the game sneak peak. Together with dive loop 3 and 4 these are believed to be 2 of the 7 secrets in the game. ;) I personally would rule 15 out, seeing the distance of the brake to the last turn is quite small if there was a inversion there we had to see someth...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

@ Kingda dude: So you believe the next seven are for May (wrote it yourself): 1. Flasher lv. 3 2. Giggler lv. 3 3. Hypnotiser lv. 3 4. Inoculator lv. 3 5. Tickler lv. 3 6. Double Dive loops. 7. In line twist after Cobra roll. There is no room for a SE just a awesome piece of Interactive theming. Sor...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

@ Kingda dude and Boz: To understand where I'm going look at picture 5 of the 11MB section. There has been normal track through out the trench. Now They're on the point that they need to get up, they need to go over the placed wall. It already takes one piece of track to tilt the train to the prope...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I place this here: Where's the SE Big surprise: There is none. ;) A SE is never confirmed the park never said anything about that. But they said it's a world first so enthusiasts enforced the idea of a SE. What the World first is I don't know but that's what I wish to find out. ;) Really? And what ...
