You are correct, good sir. This could have a negative impact on the ride. SmileyMan

Has anyone noticed that there is a sheet of glass at the brake run on the left after the matinence shed

This was brought up before, however no, it is just water that has built up there. Even if it was, the track does not run underneath it. It has been confirmed there is no secret element there.

Wouldn't changing the height of the car be impossible though since the car isnt powered once it leaves the station/lift hills

There is a big power supply on the back of the seats. Larger than normal. Also, they could have one underneath, with hydraulics pushing the car

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Only problem with this is, what if you do not want your face displayed on the Marmaliser screens for all to see. Also if John Wardley said that your have to ride it, to see the secret element this is clearly not it. As it can be seen on the screens by people watching. So what else could the secret ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Forgive me for getting excited but that facial recognition and Smiling to make the ride go faster concept would be simply groundbreaking and amazing. Id like a bit more proof though! Me too however add up what we know. - there are on ride cameras - the trains do have unusual springs near the wheels...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Shoot me down if you want, but I have just had a long conversation with Theme Park Collective and they have revealed to me what this secret is about the facial recognition. "Scream if you wanna go faster" is literal on THE SMILER. If you smile, the ride responds by reducing the amount of ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Also, he has confirmed to me that there is projection technology inside. This explains why the walls are white.

He said it projects THE SMILER logo onto the walls, as well as "Some other surprises!" :D

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Just asked genie (I know a great source! ;D) and asked what the secret element was to THE SMILER, and it replied

"Genie knows THE SMILER, is a 4D type roller coaster which is just one of its kind! With 14 loops, it would scare the day lights out of even the strong hearted!"

Lol

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Sorry guys, I just thought I'd add what I know so far about this ride. Is there any way that I can block the text so that you have to click to see it? Anyway, doesn't matter now, and I guess since this topic say "may contain spoilers" I should be ok. I cant tell you my sources on this.......

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I am not too sure this wouldn't be feasible because of what we have seen of the trains already. If they didn't leave the train at the bottom of the V lift, I would have maybe considered it, but it was the right way round, and it was at an angle because it was on the curved part. It wouldn't be able ...
