Re: Thorpe Park - New Indoor Attraction 2016

Has anybody else noticed that at the bottom of the minds wanted home page it reads "Get on board a world’s first with Derren Brown only at THORPE PARK Resort." Could this be further hinting at the underground theme???

Re: 2015 Scarefest

I've done sub terra, when it had actors, so how different are they to these experiences? Finally how long are you roughly in a scare mazes for? You're roughly in the mazes for up to 10 minutes each. After you finish the drop section and exit the Sub Terra ride, you've done it with actors before, the...

Re: 2015 Scarefest

I have some general questions about scarefest. :D What are the scare mazes like generally, because this year I have decided that I will do the scare mazes however I have never done one in the past. Last year I did both scare zones and I've done sub terra, when it had actors, so how different are they...

Re: Thorpe Park - New Indoor Attraction 2016

I have seen a few of Derren Brown's shows and the whole cog and mind control thing seems very much like his show Svengali. Svengali is meant to be an automaton which possessed members of an audience, this could be where the whole mind control thing comes from. Also, according to wikipedia, Svengali is...

Re: Thorpe Park - New Indoor Attraction 2016

This is something I've just thought of but if it is a movie theme could it be The Host related. The film is based off the book by Stephenie Meyer, author of twilight, as the book/film is about an alien race that wipes out the minds of humans and turns their bodies into hosts for the aliens. The only ...

Re: The Smiler Incident 02/06/15

I don't know if it's just me walking round blind, as I've only been twice since it crashed, but I'm pretty sure the smiler has started to make a return to the gift shop. The placards,in towers trading, which were above it's merch have returned and there also seems to be a lot more references to it. ...

Re: No Limits and Other Software Quick Questions

I was just wondering how you scale plans/screenshots,from google maps, of rides to full size in No Limits 2. I have had No limits for awhile now and have been wanting to do this to make recreations easier however I have not found anywhere explaining how to do this. Any help would be greatly apprecia...

Re: Two Smiler trains collide -- BREAKING

Hope everyone is okay on park today. Heard what has happened to The Smiler and people need to stop making silly comments saying it should be shut down and that it's all Alton Towers fault. There has been no investigation yet so just stop throwing insults and rumors. The rollercoaster is safe so peo...

I'm just as excited for this as anyone else however I am concerned on what effect this may have on some of the other parks in the U.K because this may impact them majorly but only time will tell.

Re: Rides You Never Rode (but wish you had)

Black Hole and Submission. Black Hole get removed when I was 5 so I have no memory of it, but from what I've seen/heard it looked like a good ride with some good theming and Submission was just another ride in X-Sector and so I never went on it. I found that I couldn't be bothered to q for Submissio...

Re: Slowed down Runaway Mine Train

People would put their hands in the air and then complain when they got hit by them. Maybe they got too many complaints? That wouldn't happen. The headchoppers would have passed the safety envelope test before the ride was opened to the public, if there was any risk of a rider being able to touch t...
