Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Follow up to the All Day Dining tickets:
Use this link instead if you pre-order during Scarefest. The price is higher (which makes sense considering the park is open for longer): http://www.altontowers.com/activities/events/scarefest/

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

And last question, is it worth purchasing the 'All day all you can eat' package? What does it include? I hit up Merlin the other day with some questions regarding that as well! All info can be found here: https://www.altontowers.com/activities/places-to-eat/theme-park/all-day-dining/" onclick="wind...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

If I was to purchase tickets from Nov 5th (fireworks) could I purchase a 'bounce back' ticket on park for the 6th? I don't see why it shouldn't be possible, however check with the box office if that's the actual case. Would not be surprised it's not possible because of the special event, but then a...

Re: Phantasialand

Been to PHL last Sunday, and it is now my favourite park in the world. The entire park changed so much over the past years (for the better). They've really stepped up their game with the theming and ride line up is brilliant. Especially with Klugheim they've outdone themselves! Loved Taron and Raik ...

This may if been asked already but do we know if loggers leap is back next year?

I think TP said it will return for next season, but I have no confirmed source for that unfortunately.

Re: X-Sector refurbishment?

Unpopular opinion, but I am somewhat hoping Oblivion will get a retheme to be close to The Smiler/Ministry of Joy. It's suspicious they closed down the Oblivion shop for this season, when I asked them why they just gave me a very cryptic reply a la "Watch this space!". :o

Wow, would actually love to see what Sub Strain is all about! Too bad it's only for schools though. :(

Re: ScareMazing South 8th October 2016 - General Discussion

So excited for my first ever TP event, and my first TT event in a year and a half. Does anyone know when the first bus to Thorpe Park from Staines station, and the last one back? If this is early start, I may be a little late, as, as far as I can tell, the first one leaves at 9:00 which is usually ...

Isn't it gate opens at 10AM, and whoever has an annual pass can get in at 9:30AM?

Re: Heide Park

There's going to be an announcement during their Halloween Nights on 14th October what the new attraction is going to be.
Rather happy to see the old Spencer Show leave, it was quite poorly made and only really had nostalgia for people who actually used to know the show.

Re: Movie Park Germany

Can't wait to have this finished, gives me an excuse to get back to my home town...;) I was afraid the entrance would be right at the entrance of the park, making it awfully crowded. But recent pictures suggest that the entrance will be in fact on the other side near the Pier area (and finally getti...

Re: SW8

I know it would be expensive but a potential massive marketing gimmick for the new ride would be to install electrochromatic glass (look it up) in the skyride gondolas which would turn opaque (I think it could even display a message about SW8) when the skyride was passing the construction site and ...

I can't remember unfortunately, but I did book rather early as the price would go up by the day!

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Does anybody know about Taxis from Stoke on Trent rail station to Alton Towers? Is there a taxi stop outside of the station and does anyone know how much it would cost? There are plenty of Taxis waiting on the rail station, if you leave from the main entrance and turn left, there should be some wai...

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

It would be crazy if summer Nights reloaded is Derren less again for the second time, not that I minded the 1st time, it was still a great evening, but what will they do if it's out again? Summer Nights reloaded Xtra spring 2017? Well, they got less than two weeks to fix it somehow... Not sure if t...

Special offer for people staying at the PHL hotels to experience Klugheim after the park is closed! You'll be able to access Klugheim again 30 minutes after the park closes for an hour, including both coasters and some food shops. The area will be open for an hour for hotel guests. Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

I'm going to ATR in September for the first time this year and I want to go on Galactica. Every time I've wanted to go on it as Air the queue has either been rediculously long or it broke down while I was in the queue. Should I use the VR or not for my first time on it? I don't know, is the VR stil...

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

I've now been messed about with by Thorpe Park and Ghosttrain three times: delayed opening, massive screwup with the ticket promotion and now the attraction not being open for Summer Nights last Friday. Luckily I've managed to get on it once while it was working, so yay. But massively disappointed i...
