Re: Drayton Manor

I've got to agree here

The parks enforce the rules enough and standing up shouldn't be tolerated.
However you cannot monitor the whole ride or even add seat belts because it would rapidly reduce loading times.

While my condolences go out,
Unfortunately it seems to be the girls fault

Re: [email protected] Event Feedback

Loved it, just how can it be topped?
Nice quiet day as well so clocked on quite a few rides.
I was horrified when I saw the massive crane for Nemesis but luckily it opened.
Such a good talk with Mr Wardley as well as a bar, lighting and complementary snacks.
Thanks it was awesome!

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

From browsing the app, it looks like Saw & Stealth have been closed almost if not permanently with Colossus open for a fraction of the time. I hope this changes because this is poor even though it puts B&M in a rather big spotlight

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

I do think that Colossus will be gone after it turns 20 or before given it's issues at the moment. For 2024 I can see a B&M floorless going in that spot - and slammer's. It will still be a usp unless another U.K. Park gets a B&M or an x-car. I would leave x because I think that a Chiapas sty...

Colossus is a joke stuck in the middle of the queue and looks like only fast pass is getting through

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?

I'm thinking that an Arthur style coaster would be great with some plantation around the back with an outdoor section.

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

Having read about the fastly approaching hotel I have realised that the area where the shark is now will once again be free. This means this could now occupy a new coaster which has got me thinking... I think Neptune's Kingdom needs to go and be replaced. The Beach is only open for a small amount of...

Re: Drayton Manor

I have been thinking. What would be a good coaster for Drayton? What would you like to see and where? I have also looked on google maps and can see a building of substantial size which I guess is Pirate Adventure. What could we see there? I would probably say a £5 - £7 million maximum on a new coast...

Re: Galactica - A worth while investment?

Like I said a split with air might be necessary just to balance throughput and provide an alternative to when Galactica suffers 'issues'. I think that it is a good idea but not fully thought through. This is proven as when I went to Towers for the event in Towers it shut for technical reasons at aro...

Galactica - A worth while investment?

Now that the season is over it is time to reflect on the previous season and into the future. However Alton Towers have brung up this as an investment and it has received mixed reviews. Should it have been kept as air but upgraded following the same theme? Personally I feel as though the Smiler has ...

Re: The Next Big Attraction

After a think I have come up with some ideas for new coasters. My first is for the island behind the swarm. It will be either a flying, a dive or even a flying dive coaster. It will be themed around the RAF and will be about trying to stop the swarm, it will be very interactive with the swarm. Anoth...

Re: Ride you have queued up for the longest is?

I waited about 80 mins last year in May for Rita as it was on one train. I've waited about 70 mins for G Force (2013 & 2014) & 1 hour for the smiler at the summer sizzler in July.

24/09/16

Hi. I am planning on going to either Thorpe park or Alton Towers but not sure on which one to go to. One is slightly cheaper and the other less distance for travelling so doesn't matter about that. When I went to the summer sizzler I ended up waiting an hour for a galactica queue without a ride so w...
