Re: Thorpe Park Resort - Quick Questions

I will just say that maybe consider going to Legoland or Chessington or even Paultons instead. Thorpe does have some kiddie rides but compared to those other parks, they are rather basic.

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

This does remind me of another major theme park resort in France that was plagued with problems and was far too ambitions. Does Disneyland Paris ring a bell?

There was a Disney Parks Blog article - https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2018/05/space-themed-restaurant-lands-in-future-world-at-epcot/?CMP=SOC-DPFY18Q2wo0503180509180033C

Re: Walt Disney World - Epcot

The Space Restaurant hasn't been cancelled and should be placed between Mission Space and Test. Track.

Re: Shanghai Disneyland

Remember China is still very much 'new ' for allowing non-Chinese media to be shown. This explains why Star Wars just isn't that big in China (poor Last Jedi performance) and also with Disney princesses. However, newer brands like Marvel and Pixar are a lot more successful in China due there not bei...

Re: Legoland Windsor Resort - General Discussion

The contract would need to be looked at but it is important to remember that although any of Merlin's attractions are private property, trespassing is not a criminal offence, unless you cause damage.

Re: Legoland Windsor Resort - General Discussion

It seems like Ally Law (who previously climbed up Stealth) has done an over-night challenge at LEGOLAND. This has breached his contract banning him from worldwide Merlin attractions.

Re: Land of the Tiger - New for 2018

Mixed feelings about this. I understand what they were going for but I just don't think it works. Seeing the metal enclosures looks ugly, which combined with the lack of the trees makes the area feel a bit empty. Generally, too many bright colours used, which look worse than the concept art. The sta...

Re: Project 2020

I do believe the rumour and as much as I love airtime, it feels like a missed opportunity to add the UK's first RMC.

Are there any pictures of inside the attraction, with there being the backstage tour being done by TT?

Re: Haunted House Monster Party - Opening Spring 2019

Just thought that Merlin could have easily just re-used the name and even logo for house of monsters from scarefest.

Re: Haunted House Monster Party - Opening Spring 2019

I do really like the concept behind the ride but couldn't the name be a bit better? Even just calling it 'The Haunted House' or 'Ghost' like the other version of the attraction would sound better.

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I read somewhere there are issues to do with breaking on one of the trains, so weighing trains had something to do with the closed rows.

Re: Wicker Man Area Speculation and Discussion

Does it really matter what area it is in exactly? If anything, it works quite well mixing Katanga Canyon, Gloomy Wood and Mutiny Bay.

Well it fits the island theme with boats and the themes are dark/ industrial. Literally, the best explanation I have heard.

Re: The Walking Dead: The Ride - New for 2018

I'm not too sure the original source of the photo (I originally saw it on discord). My issue is it looks depressing and it just seems like the park forgot they already had a horror coaster. The Instagram picture summed the entire project. It was blood as words, which has been done so many times befo...
