Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

As far as I was aware it was removed from the app before Fright Nights started, after its final day of operation last year.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

As far as I can tell, the rumours of its removal were based upon incorrect information and assumptions.

Re: Chessington - The Future

Presumably the throughput on those would be terrible without a significant number, and would require staff to drag them out of wherever they'd been crashed into, much like Legoland Driving School. Due to the throughput issues, it's possible this could be a separate additional charge thing, like the ...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - The Future

As posted on SouthParks Facebook , Thorpe Park will be operating a new parking system from the start of the season. Designed to speed up the process of leaving the Resort, the new exit system will use ANPR, which guests pay for via an app or pre-payment online. Premium Passholders will still be able...

Re: Your Top Ten Coasters

A 2019 season update, which saw some new rides with Hagrid's, and the roller coasters at both Florida Fun Spots. But will Galaxy Spin make my list of top 10 most fun rides? New entries in italics. 1. Taron 2. Mako 3. Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure 4. The Swarm 5. Black Mamba 6. Nemes...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - The Future

Thorpe have recently been posting adverts for jobs this season at the park. Largely the positions available have been for the sorts of seasonal things you'd expect: rides; food and beverage; and site presentation. However, here are few interesting new positions available. These include: Marketing Di...

Re: Chessington - The Future

Electric vehicle manufacturer Miniportworld appear to be partnering with Chessington to install their minisafariworld product into the park. Whilst details are unknown, the ride type consists of electric vehicles styled upon a Land Rover Defender that children under 10 can drive around a set out cou...

Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

With Big One at Pleasure Beach undergoing retracking, it makes me wonder how long until we see the two-month older Nemesis undergo something similar? There have already been cranes on site a few times last year, knocking it out of service. Whilst Universal Orlando proved B&M don't make indestruc...

Re: Flamingo Land

Everytime I look I see a new issue. So far I've got: 1. Unsupported end of track piece 2. Wrong support placed which; a. Has a connection to the left side that won't be used. b. The bit that is connected leaves zero clearance for the train. 3. The support appears to be strapped in at least two place...

Re: Food & Beverages

Whilst the app has largely not been updated since Fright Nights, a listing for Sombrero's has appeared at some point, which I don't recognise. https://i.imgur.com/kQM0xfA.jpg This certainly wasn't the menu up-until Fright Nights, and whilst I don't know their precise Fright Nights menu, I can't see ...

All the above mentioned products have now been removed from the Aroma Prime store.

This is going to be the announcement, isn't it? :|

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

I kind of think it would be best suited to part of the fountain show, which made its debut last year. Then they could play the song enough to get a crowd cheering, but not overplay it to cause complete annoyance. The Stranger Things theme music being played last year during the fountain show got a b...

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

Well, they already used that record in the Academy of Villains show last year, so it has a HHN tie already. But to be honest, the Robb Zombie scare zone and house at HHN29 felt fairly weak. The scare zone probably due to its location and small size. The house just didn't have a memorable story or fl...

Well The Rocking Boat type looks like it could be incredibly versatile and fun!

If someone could go ahead and install one of those please, that'd be great. :)

Re: Chessington - The Past

Runaway Mine Train is an odd one. The (not) rock work looked fantastic from the outside, and combined with the queue and music, made the experience feel like a very mini Big Thunder Mountain. But, on the inside of the (not) rock work, it was just the grey shell and supports holding it all together, ...

I have limited memories of it, other than the smoke, darkness and part of the music. It's hard for me to fully recall if I remember Zappomatic more from the ride itself, or from photos in the guidebook.
