Re: Planet Coaster

It is worth noting that Planet Coaster is deceivingly demanding. I'm running a system with a Nvidia GTX970 GPU with an Intel i5-6400 CPU and this will struggle with more densely populated maps in Planet Coaster, for reference :) What settings and resolution do you use? I'm definitely going to have ...

Re: Planet Coaster

I currently have a Vega 8 integrated GPU from a Ryzen 3 2200g. This was released earlier this year and can run some games quite well. I hope this should run alright as long as I turn down the guest count quite significantly. Thank you!

Re: Planet Coaster

Hi, I'm looking at getting Planet Coaster, seeing as it's on sale, but I don't know what GPU I should use. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Project 2020

Thorpe Parks Instagram are slowly adding pictures to make a big picture and on it there is a rollercoaster sketch but it appears to have a wooden frame...

Re: Project 2020

Are these two the same place? I can't really tell. Also didn't someone mention that there will be development on that field, so sorry I can't remember your name! EDIT: It was sw7nutter.

Re: Logger's Leap

Sadly, this won't mean anything. If you put in https://www.thorpepark.com/rides/slammer or any other recently closed ride the same thing happens. They will have just found it easier to redirect you than delete it or they could be keeping it for archival purposes. Sorry to ruin your fun.

Re: Project 2020

We have plenty of time yet I'm sure, The Swarm had planning permission submitted at the end of January. And I know it's far-fetched but the MMXX=2020 sign is in red and green, and they're Christmas colours. That could just be because it looks nice, or is maybe relevant to the theme, but I'm hoping f...

Re: Logger's Leap

Okay, the trolling is in full swing. Thorpe's Twitter quickly posted and deleted #loggersleap2019. Couldn't get a screenshot, all I got was the notification and when I checked it had gone.

Well, I should have seen that coming... I'll have to try to be a bit more conscious next time!

Re: Logger's Leap

Could this be a subtle hint that Loggers opens back up finally in March?

Re: Project 2020

The layout looks fun! But I think it's in the wrong place, I'd have thought it would be behind the Swarm and Stealth with the station at Slammer. Still a great image though!

Re: Project 2020

To attach files you go into the full editor and preview and underneath where you would write text there should be a tab labelled options, and to the right should be a tab labelled attachments. From there you click add files. I hope that made sense as I am new to this site still!

I agree, if there is no planning permission then I will be having a word with Merlin!

Re: Galactica - General Discussion

Oh I hope it does! I'd love to see the VR get done away with. However, it doesn't seem likely, VR was a big selling point for galactica.

Re: SW9

I think that would take a page from Galactica though. I think, with it being Merlin, they'll either play it safe with a pirate theme or go for a dark apocalyptic theme. Would like to see something new though.

Things tend to turn like that at Thorpe, hope it's getting better now though!
