As already mentioned, I shall be going.  Just for the day mind, can't really afford to stay overnight as well.

Re: Outstanding Customer Service

Will also concur that customer service this weekend was excellent.  There was the potential, with all the main coasters out of action for the best part of the day, and with only Air eventually opening on the minimum capacity possible, for everything to of been a shambles.  However, with pr...

Re: MINI MEET - Thorpe Park - Opening day, Thursday 15th March

Just for information:  I have booked the Sunbury Travelodge for myself and Mike for the Wed evening.  Have a space for one more if anyone wants to join us, if so, will be £10 each.  Sadly, between website crashes this morning (The £10 room sale for stays in April was obviously very po...

Re: MINI MEET - Thorpe Park - Opening day, Thursday 15th March

Going to Thorpe Park on opening day.  Talk about a glutton for punishment  :P.  There is a £10 room sale starting at 6am next Thursday, so if I can bag a £10 room at either T5 or Central, will book then, if not, will be booking T5 anyway.  Will be able to offer a couple of spaces...

Re: 2012 ticket price is £42

I'm fairly certain the split sessions in the Waterpark were there last summer too.  Seems a nice way to get an extra few pounds for those who wish to make use of the Waterpark all day.

Mine:- http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-3.75&soc=-5.33 Seems about right, last time I did this some years back, I was seemingly a lot more centre left.  I guess I have mellowed and chilled a bit since. I also stand by my belief that David Cameron, Ed Milliband &am...

Lesbian , Gay , Bisexual , Transgender . Discuss! I'd like to be the first to say... I'm gay! Obvious I know, but someone had to start! Love, Sam. You're gay?   I never knew.  For anyone wondering, the straight people in the photo are sat on the front row in seats 1,2 & 5...

2012: SBNO + potential major overhauls, refurb = 'New for 2013....'  :D From a personal point of view, Submission wont be too badly missed by me, I loath it, but enjoy watching others suffer on it.   Do enjoy Enterprise though. It does seem a shame that we gain two, what should b...

Re: Europa Park - New Year 2011/2012

Would like to thank everyone who came along to this trip for  making for such an amazing time.  It truly was one of the best holidays I have been on for a long time. Even without the snow of last year, everywhere on the park looked magical.  Every effort had been made to make the park...

Re: High Court challenge over noise - guess who's back...

There's always been a lot of confusion as to the location of the Ropers house. Previous reports from some years ago suggested their house was between the main gates and the Chained Oak Guest House. If this was the case, then they would not be far from X Sector. Oblivions brake run is opposite the en...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Just filled out the survey. Though I opted for highly unlikely I would purchase any higher priced pass, I did suggest that any other benefits that could be included are the Alton Towers water park & international, (at the very least, European) Merlin attractions, though for the international/Eur...

The Merlin Annual Pass

Hmm. Let me think : Year 1. Very few buy it. Deemed Too expensive, despite the benefits. Year 2. Restrictions begin to be added to premium pass and some perks are removed all together. Uproar from all quarters. Merlin review pricing structures, making the higher tier pass seem excellent value for mo...

Ultimate Fireworks 2011

It will probably get slightly busier after 4pm, but has been fairly quiet on park today. Queues around 0-20 mins currently. Though now it has just started raining I would imagine Spinballs queue will double

2012: Nemesis - What Lies Beneath... Part 2

The last big attraction to open after the opening day of the season was RITA, which opened, I recall, 2 weeks after opening day, and just in time for the Easter holidays. I can't recall any major attraction since opening later than season start.

Re: Scarefest 2011: General Discussion

Was anyone there on sunday to notice they had technical difficulties with the lighting effects onto the towers, they kept switching on and off. A. They were faffing about with the lights on the Towers last night as well, and given the activity and lasers around the lake, I'm banking on it being Fir...

Pleasure Beach Blackpool 29/10/11

Myself, John, and Johns brother took a trip up to Blackpool to sample the delights of Mandy's Pleasure Beach. Weather wise, it was rather cold and windy, with some light rain early on, and some quite heavy rain late evening. Was fairly busy, and by late afternoon, some queues were fairly long. Thank...
