Re: THORPE PARK 2010

Wtf is Thorpe Belle?! :? Any pictures anyone?

This sounds interesting, but I bet it'll be a hit and miss attraction, sometimes having actors in, and sometimes hardly any.

We all know what Thorpe is like :|

Re: SW6 Theme Discussion

Hmmm but still I find it weird that the name has disappeared from the back. :?

I just really don't want it to be called "Surrender!"

Re: SW6 Theme Discussion

Also, I'd like to mention this, I noticed on the back of the Scarefest map, on the advert for SW6 It doesn't actually say "Surrender"...

So yeah, I doubt it'll be called that!

Re: Alton Towers To Have Rail Connection In 4 Years

This is amazing news, no more having to leech off people for lifts to the park from stoke for meee! :P A 5 hour train journey can do with a little bit more! :P

I hope this goes through, I really do! [-o<

Re: Safer parking

Hehe! How do you sleep at night? :? You must have an EPIC car to worry this much. :D (meant in a nice way of course, just seems like something you'd only worry about if you had something worth A LOT of money!) If you can leave your car parked in a supermarket car park, then I wouldn't worry, the par...

Re: Scarefest 2009: 17th October - 1st November

My view. The event as a whole was incredible and beat last year by a long shot, but that doesn't mean it didn't have a few teething problems. Nemesis could have done with being lit up a bit more. Was disappointed to not see much done around the park either. Towers street was incredible, but that was...

Re: Europa & Terenzi 2009 Trip Report (no spoilers)

I really need to do a bit of research on this event seeing as I'm going this month! :P I just haven't looked, I know the basis of what its about but I wanna keep everything as a surprise. Didn't realise the Vampire's club was Poseidons station. Sounds interesting though. What rides are open during t...

Re: Park Music and Videos

Nice mate! :D I've just realised, the guitar riff is actually a variation of the Towers Street theme... much like the one which plays in Cariba and Splash. (don't suppose you have that one?!) *dances* Love this! :D Still downloading the Towers Street one EDIT: Awesome! :D Yup thats the right one too.

Re: Nemesis

I doubt it, that'd be insanity. Don't worry! Nemesis has more than another 2 decades left on her shoulders. It's still one of the most renowned coasters out there, to remove it would just be stupid.

I swear topics like this pop up every year around the same time! :?

Re: Park Music and Videos

I have the old towers street theme.

I'm on about the new one, I've got a recording of it, I'm just hoping that an MP3 pops up! And as for the monorail one, its the one that plays in the station currently, guitar riff n that.

Either way I'll live without them! I go to the park enough! :P

Re: Scarefest 2009: 17th October - 1st November

I'd imagine it'll be pretty busy to be honest, but in all fairness, if you're there 2 days you're gonna manage to do everything seeing as the park is open for longer (until 9 I think.)

And yes, they are still doing the "come back tomorrow" tickets, but they're £9 now if I am correct.

Re: Scarefest 2009: 17th October - 1st November

Starting to get mega excited now! Nemmy in the dark! :evillaugh: BOILER! Aaaah I hope it lives up to last year! One thing I hope does change however, is that bloody hallowe'en play list they had on repeat in Ma Garritas last year! :P So short, I swear we heard it repeat about 20 times all weekend! M...

Re: SW6 Ride discussion Part 2

I think its more of the fact that it doesn't make grammatical sense. It just doesn't sound right. :S Cuz its not so much a name, but its an action.

I don't think there are many coasters out there which are named after an action. :? That's like calling Air "Fly."

Re: SW6 Ride discussion Part 2

I'm sorry, but there is no way that "Surrender" is the best that they've come up with. Its more like a tag line which I think people are getting confused with. It says "Surrender... in 2010"! Its no different to "Don't Look Down" or in films or games where its like &quo...
