Re: The Blackpool Tower Dungeons

When I went last weekend, it cost me £45 for the whole lot and that included Tower Eye & 4D, Ballroom, Jungle Jims, Circus, Madame Tussauds, Sealife & Tower Dungeons. I thought that was a bit of a rip off but I suppose its not too bad when you consider it could be a full day out. I thought t...

Re: Flamingoland tease with "on-hold" woodie layout

Hey Peeps, I have done a mock up of the Woodie from the concept pic they released, you can download the No-Limits file below or watch the you tube video if you dont have No-Limits. Its based on the pic that they released, and its hard to make out whats happening at some points so I hope its almost a...

Re: Any future for the Wooden Coaster?

Sam,

No problem fella. I was surprised that nobody already had done this years ago. I couldn't find one so I thought I may aswell.

It took me a few days to get it right and it probably isn't totally accurate but its gotta be close enough.

Re: Any future for the Wooden Coaster?

If any of you guys have No-Limits coaster, I have created and uploaded a track of the propsed cross valley woodie based on the plans. Of course this wont be totally accurate but its the best I could do with what there was available. Feel free to download; [url=http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/11...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

Just my two pence worth... Went today and headed straight for Thirteen, the guy at the entrance said it was 1hr20 queue but it took us about 55 mins. The trains were shooting out about every 35 seconds. Went on it at the end of the day too and it had a small breakdown of about 25 mins at 5pm. Bad Po...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

Hmmm im keeping my opinions until I ride it myself, although I do like the look of the backwards section. Glad to see that it is covered up then and not just a trench in the ground, well that is if they hopefully cover up those gaps of light that you could see coming through at various points. Notic...

Re: SW6 / Thirteen - Ride & Construction discussion Part 2

Another Bradfordian here, and i know what you mean about all the negativity at the minute. come on Broadway.

Anyway, back on topic. I'm personally going to give it a few weeks for Thirteen to bed in before I make a trip down, but hopefully before easter. Can't face queueing hours for it.

Re: The American Adventure: Past, Present and Future

If you type in this postcode DE7 5SX on Multimap.com and choose Aerial map, you can still see the Flying Island on there. Such as shame to see the park at its peak.

Does anyone else think that the tree looks like a giant hand coming out of the ground?

Re: Lightwater Valley removing the Rat ride

Is it my imagination or does the Rat's Lift Hill cut diagonally accross the structure or in a straight line. I know it curves right out of the station and then it seems to do a 45degree turn to the right and climb diagonally, then when you get to the top it turns left. Am I imagining this?

Re: SW6 Construction Part Two

If any of you guys have No Limits, I have created a mock-up of SW6 to see what the speeds maybe like. I have created it based on pictures and the plans, and within the constraints of the no limits track. Hence the backwards section being forwards. Feel free to download from below and have a look. U.S.A Trip - SFGA, SFMM & Vegas

Made a visit to the U.S.A a few weeks ago, and decided whilst I was there to try a few parks out that i'd wanted to visit for years. I'd never been to a Six Flags park, only ever really done the Florida parks in the U.S. I paid a visit to Six Flags Great Adventure whilst in New York, and Magic Mount...

Lightwater Valley - 24/05/09

Paid a visit to Lightwater Valley this Bank Holiday weekend, I didn't fancy going to any other parks at this time due to the crowds etc. Arrived at the park for 11.30am to find the overflow car park actually being used, the first time I’ve seen this used since the mid 90's. The panic started to set ...

Re: 2010: Secret Weapon Six Part Three

Could the worlds first be a backwards indoor loop? It could enter the building and switch tracks like Everest and the drop down into a loop over the station (enclosed) and exit the building into the helix turn. See image on link below; [url=http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/4782/sw6j.jpg" target="_...

Yeah it was before the Toad Hole years I think, it was just the usual waterfall that turns off as you aproach. Only it never quite did.

Does anybody remember the waterfall the used to cover the cave entrance, it used to turn off when the boat passed. But you always still got wet from it?

And the little devils head that used to pop up before the ride started?

Drayton Manor - 11th May 2008

Took a trip to Drayton this Sunday for the first time in 3 years, thought I would take my little 6yr old nephew down too and get him started on the thrill rides early. The weather was fantastic and I was not surprised to see the park was absolutely packed. I always think that Theme Parks are at thei...

158. When youre in the queue for Spinball near the station, point at the wheels with a horrified look on your face on the next train that approaches the brakes. Works better if more than one person does it, everyone freaks out and tries to look at the wheels. 159. Randomly stop anywhere in the park ...
