Re: SW6 Ride discussion Part 2

this is a very well kept secret Well in that case someone needs to have a word with some of the workmen on site, because it seems some of them have been more than willing to chat about the ride to people in the Rita Q. I agree, nothing is set in stone until it is built, but its not such a big secret.

Basically a vertical drop, up and down but mounted so that it can vary like that on ToT to coincide with effects.

Re: SW6 Ride discussion Part 2

Look, I've been on this forum for years I know it's annoying when people post stuff without foundation but put it this way; there are a group of hardcore enthusiasts who don't ask me how, but they get told information which is pretty much always correct. It's done the rounds today on msn when talkin...

Re: SW6 Construction Part Two

Apparently the hole is to accommodate machinery that will control the decent. Basically think of Tower of Terror mixed with a rollercoaster. Some nice movements, special effects, you name it. Should be an interesting combo.

Re: SW6 Ride discussion Part 2

It is now pretty much confirmed through the grapevine that the world first element is simply [spoiler:3il3mwfq]a vertical drop followed by a backwards section.[/spoiler:3il3mwfq]

Re: Alton Road Trip - By a n00b

Yeah pretty good!

My only worry now is that if we go on the 27/28th or the 28/29th is there any likely hood of Alton selling out/reaching capacity?

And they do sell on the gate unlike thorpe dont they?

Re: Alton Road Trip - By a n00b

How much is on the gate price for an Adult? Im trying to figure out if its cheaper for 8 people to use the BOGOF vouchers and then pay for next day entry... or to buy 2 x family 2 day entry tickets for £102.40 a go.
