I don't believe anybody has ever hit a rock. As Astro said, it has been operating for 13 years so that tells you it is perfectly safe and probably impossible to hit a near surrounding (maybe a plant though :-?). Once i had my hands up and i touched the thingy above but that's it.
At the moment, i think Alton has not got anything special which is new. CATCF does not bother me at all, Rita, erm, well Stealth hello ! At this moment i prefer Thorpe to Alton though i still think Alton is an amazing park. I think Alton are working on a plan for something special and to bring...
Ah X-Sector and it's good old days. I never have queued that long for Oblivion. Now look at it and X-Sector! The track is rusty, no queue for Oblivion and a huge tent. Disgraceful :x. I think there are some pictures in the History section but i cant get on there at the moment (History Week maybe :-?...
It's getting a re-theme so i highly doubt they will be changing anything from the ride . It will finally have it's long awaited theming completed! Hopefully it will be a better ride :D. I am looking forward to this.
PS: Mattez, your sig needs changing i think .
At the moment, i would have to say Thorpe. They are growing so fast and it just makes me have alot more fun. The areas are themed so well and the fact that it is small, does give it some extra credit IMO. With Alton you really have to plan your day but at Thorpe, you can walk to one ride and then go...
I have never been sick after a ride and have only felt ill after one once. That ride was Samurai in 2004 but we had just been to Pizza Hut :P. Come to think of it, i haven't vomited in years . I went on Samurai a few weeks ago I and loved it even more than before; it is now my favourite flat. A...
I wont be able to come. I can get a train to Uttoxeter for 8.50am but the 32A isnt running in the morning. I don't get in taxis and i wouldn't pay it either. Anyone fancy picking me up ?
Hmmm, i could try and be there. One my best mates is going that day so i may be able to pay her mother/father for a lift if there is any room . Nah, i'll check the trains and if they are decent timing and my mum lets me go, i shall do my best as i still need to go to a meet-up. :D Edit: Would ...
I have never queued any more than 20 mins for Nemmy. To be honest, i have never seen the queue that long. I imagine it gets packed on days where events are happening aka Chocolate Towers. The queue moves nicely though because when a train is dispatching, there is the one about to come in.
Oh dear, things do not look good for Alton. As much as i dont want to, i see the point that guy is getting at. It must be terrible with the roads and noise from traffic for 8 months every year. I'm sure i would hate it and complain. I don't understand the part about the Gardens though. I think Alton...
Well in my opinion, the Runaway Mine Train is a better ride but the Flying Fish is still great fun. The Runaway Mine Train is probably faster and is longer but Flying Fish relys a bit more on scenary. You came so close to the bushes in the middle as you helixed around them. They are both terrific ri...
You might find this quite an interesting read through. No wonder they're introducing paranormal tours  Regards, Mark Thanks for that link Mark, it is quite freaky. It wouldn't surprise me if the Towers did have ghosts in. Whenever I look inside the walls of them i cringe. The images are so str...
