Re: Quick Questions 2009

What resturants are open to non hotel guests after park closing time? And for these resturants does anyone have any menus or rough prices? Cheers, Ben As above, your only real options are the hotel restaurants (either Flambos buffet or Secrret Garden Brazzerie) - My best advice would be to get in y...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

Hi Sam, Expect the park to be pretty busy with school trips, but it wont be as busy as the weekends. Some tips for you: Get to the park as early as possible as school trips tend to arrive 10.30 - 11 so you can get some rides before they mass onto park! Currently if you buy tickets online, you get fr...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

shawnoc, Yes you can. I'd suggest booking though as sometimes they can be a bit funny and give preference to hotel goers.

My question: What ae the names and prices of the 2009 bounceback tickets? There are 2 - one for next day and 1 for anytiem during the season.

Thanks
Rory :D

It also looks as if youve cropped off the rider (back row right) legs on weird oblivion shot.
I love the nemesis pic.

Re: Explorers Pizza and Pasta Buffet

Visited the Pasta & Pizza buffet fro lunch this Tuesday - Fantastic, well done Alton Towers, a great addition! The eatery manages to fulfil all that is demanded from a theme park lunch - lots of seating, quick access to seats even on a busy day, good selection & reasonably priced. I was very...

Re: 2010: Secret Weapon Six Part Three

oh it makes me laugh! theres lots of people on here that completely go into there own little 'roller-coaster fanboy' world and completely forget that Theme Parks target the masses and not the minority enthusiasts. I totally agree with Astrodan - the majority of guests at Alton Towers won't have been...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

Apart from view wise, do you think theres any real difference between riding on the back of nemmie or air then the front? Its got to the front of Nemesis - the views are fantastic - lots of leg chopping moments and you really can appreciate the theming and a splash of water now and then! Other seat...

Re: Queue lines?

I went on battle galleons on Tuesday for the first time and thought the queuing experience was fantastic :) Nemesis queueline would be the easiest to touch up, as said get some scrap envolved and perhaps loop the queuline in and out of some rusty lorries in the queueline area to the left as you ente...

Alton Towers Visitors & The Credit Crunch

Evening Chaps, I visited Alton Towers on Tuesday for the first time in over a year and must say I had a great day but I noticed it was remarkably busy. While I appreciate it was a really nice day and school holidays, when Ive been in previous years its not been anywhere near as packed. What am I try...

Re: Drink At The Park

Pointless really. Also, Im sure AT makes a lot of money from their unlimited refil flasks that they sell, as the coke/sprite itself costs pennies. What would be cool, would be a limited fruity fizzy beverage sold next season named in conjuction with the new ride, like cocacola did for the Nemesis dr...

Just a warning regarding the £16 raring to go offer. I stayed at the hotels on Monday evening and attempted to use this offer for my brother yesterday morning. Re: 2009, online store.

Does everyone think this onlione shop is really too demanded? I think many of the comments above are enthusiast orientated. I see items bought on park with Alton branding impulse buy by guests have an enjoyable day on park/end of day looking for a bit of merchandie to go home with. While a few peopl...

Re: Has Ebay gone downhill?

I disagree - no need for recorded delivery at all. Recorded is exactly the same as proof of postage in terms of money back for items not turning up, bar maybe a bit more of a delay. Compensation is aroudn £36 which I beleieve is exactly the same as recorded.

Oh, I love ebay!
