Thats all it can be - that's a huge amount of time for construction, almost as long as The Big One!

I rode it last year and felt it was mindnumingly tame - when it was Energizer though it was a good fun ride!

I once saw a ride being fixed with a candyfloss stick! It was a Ripsaw style ride (topspin?) and there was a Carny bloke in greasy overalls snapping the stick and jamming into some mechanism on the side then binding it. Still went on the ride though, and great fun it was too!

Sadly Jay I think you've been drawn into their propaganda. We live in a society of claim culture. The locals can smell compensation in the form of money - that's all they're after.

I'm sorry I really do disagree Jay, the locals have far too much influence on the day to day running of Alton Towers. It really isn't as busy or as noisy as they make out. The perimieter of the park is surrounded by trees acting as a natural damper and you can not see the park from the viallge, the ...

This sounds daft by why don't we organise a publicity stunt complaining about the locals? When AT is always in the press it is almost always for something negative so why not turn the tables and say "We love Alton Towers but our enjoyment at the fantastic theme park is always spoiled by the miserabl...

This was defiantely a break down, in 10 years I've never expereinced it on HH before. We were stuck in in the last half for 7-10 mins, our blasters still worked despite the announcement saying they were disabled and the music cut off. After this time there was a strained whirring sound and we starte...

Yeah I stopped on that angled track last visit. The train seemed a touch faster do you know if they may have changed the settings on the old girl Big Dave? Or is it my imagination?

I went two weeks ago and it's a vast improvement on season 2003. I swear there's effects I'd never even seen before. The rotating tunnel was working fine as was the big window with the shadows behind it. Sadly half way round it nroke down for about 5-8 minutes. It started ging really slowly, with no...

I have not seen the mist working on Oblivion for ages either. I read somewhere that they stopped it because it was rusting the track. Is this true? Surely they would have consulted B&M about this before installing the mist. If there is no rust problem, then they should get it working again as it re...

Queue Jumping

Ahh yes, this old chesnut. It is, no doubt, a problem AT has always had & always will but my visit on Tuesday seemed to be dogged by it. There were Chavvy little queue jumpers everywhere. Burberry caps barging in on Corkscrew, Air & Nemmy. There must be a better way of policing it. On Nemesis my mat...
