I'm never prepared for the power of Rita's launch, when I went on it last year it was the very first ride of the day, and most of the other rides after that just seemed forceless :)

Disney's hamburgers were vile, in Paris anyway! And a rip-off to boot The Disneyland in Florida is much better, better service and better food. As you say though, you do get ripped off on everything and luckily that's not really a problem at Alton (unless you want to park your car  ), especia...

I reckon almost all the big fast-food chain establishment should be got rid of I don't think that would be such a good idea, anybody who has gone to Oakwood or smaller parks will know that the parks generally make no effort in the catering dept. Disney are one of the few parks who pull it off reall...

I think thats the hundredth topic thats wanting x-sector to be rethemed

Why does everybody hate X-Sector so much? I know it's been in a bit of state the past few seasons but there's nothing wrong with it, all it needs is a bit of clean up. :)

It was stated by Management on the behind the scenes tour that it had been sold to a park in Brazil, though they did not elaborate on the actual park. Can't argue with that then! :D why do all the coasters that are deemed as dangerous sent to places like brazil and mexico? I could be wrong (again!)...

its still for sale on Interlink: Which was ''Updated on 2 june 2006'' To be honest, I doubt anybody's bought it. Somebody said that it is going to the same Brazilian park which ThunderLooper was sold to, but i'm sure they're not going to pay to transport a ride which isn't in the best condit...

Unfortunately, whenever I hear somebody talking about Alton Towers the only image I can conjure up in my mind is when we went on my mates birthday, he ended up drinking too much (well for him, a bit of a lightweight :) ), and went on the Corkscrew. As you can imgine, he wasn't all that well afterwar...

I think something needs to be done soon, but for gods sake, don't put a p2p attraction in there :x I'd rather see the thing rot to the ground than to find out that Alton have put some sh*tty basketball game in that tent. I have no problem with the way Alton have dotted pay to play attractions around...

Surely the two girls were partly to blame for provoking the wife, and then the husband. He shouldn't of physically assaulted the ride op like that, as it wasn't his/her fault, but I'd be a bit annoyed if somebody shouted abuse at me, then I got told off for breaking H&S regulations whilst the people...

I'm not really that bothered about religious aspect of this event, I'd be annoyed if it was a christians only day. I'm just angry that only one type of person should be allowed to visit any tourist attraction.

I TOTALLY disagree that non-muslims cannot attend. At least with the Gay day, anyone is welcome to go. I second that, I think the fact that it's in mid-season & on a weekend is completely wrong. I'm sure the muslim community would have something to say if Alton had a christian style event refusing ...

I think Bubbleworks is FAR better than Charlie. There is just so much more colour, animation and action in Bubbleworks, Charlie is just a very short boat ride with a lot of black voids. You obviously haven't been on the new bubbleworks lol! Charlie is better than Toyland and Bubbleworks simply beca...

I'm pretty sure we'll see something along the lines of a 4d Cinema in the black hole tent. It would make sense, Alton Towers want to become a family orientated resort and if you look at the likes of Disneyland and Universal Studios ext. pretty much all of them have a Cinema of some kind. This area a...

I can see why people would prefer Toyland Tours for sentimental reasons, it was a pretty decent ride for the little ones, with some amusing scenery; but to be honest I think Charlie is a better ride, and one which will appeal to today's youth more than Toyland. TLT's building was also in a disgustin...
