Good ideas there nickdaegg, however you would kinda lose the effect of dropping over the edge, down a vertical drop and into a hole in the ground if it was all done in the dark (even with the lights you suggested ). Somebody else suggested a Pandora's Box and after taking another look, this wo...

I've just watched that video, and remember that guy in the orange! :D They should make another one of those programmes, it'd be interesting to see how much the park has changed behind the scenes :)

I'm hoping it doesn't get planning permission, it's not going to look good right infront of the towers :|

X-Sector's theme isn't the problem, it's the obveous neglect that it's had over the years that's the problem. Hopefully we'll see a new flat ride next year and with it, the complete rennovation of the area. I'd also like to see a new soundtrack like the one i've made, but I doubt this'll happen due ...

Had Rita not been installed I would have kept the Corkscrew, but now I think it's time to move forward. Ug Land should have a complete re-theme and a really well themed flat ride where the Corkcrew currently is. 'Ol' Corky' was the most important ride ever to be built at Alton, it was an icon for th...

I was at Oakwood on Thursday and the place was buzzing! Speed is fantastic, even though the track isn't as impressive as B&M, this thing packs one hell of a punch. The 'more than vertical' aspect of the drop doesn't make that much of a difference, but the airtime hill straight after that is one of t...

I think the only way forward for Alton Towers is to get rid of the Corkscrew. Ug Land looks shocking as it is and the queue line for Rita made my blood boil the last time I went. I can see why people love ol' Corky but it's no longer an enjoyable ride for me, and I got over the whole 'sentimental' t...

Priority passes can be brought from Customer Services on the left hand side of towers street

Are you referring shortcut tickets or are these a different type of pass? If so, how much are they? :)

A complete waste of money, Andy Hine obviously has more money than sense to spend that amount on something as frivolous as this, but it's his money I guess, and this promotion is good for those who have the time, and the money to be able to use an annual pass. :)

Interesting fact:

'Project Dolphin was the codename for Nintendo's efforts to design a 128-bit system to replace its aging Nintendo 64 system. The ultimate result of Project Dolphin was the creation of the Nintendo GameCube.'

I've got a feeling we will see a replacement for the Black Hole next year, something similar to an Intamin Pasquier Ride.

We may also see a referb of Cred street, but that'll be about it I should think. :)

Some like these ones in Aspen, Colorado would be good, if you were to replace the red with a dark purple and put the Alton logo on the side it would look even better. :)

It all depends what type of day it is :) When it's warm and sunny the place always looks magical, however if it's misty and dull, the park seems to to look a bit drab and eerie :)
