Strange mannequins

Sat Jul 22, 2006 5:30 pm

Went to the towers on Thursady and Friday and noticed there was a building near the Peugeot driving school, we looked in the window and saw litterally hundreds of what look like moulds for mannaquin bodies (no heads). Some had wrtting on but the only one we could make out had 'Victoria Beckham' written on it. The only thing I can think of is storage for Madame Tussauds in London but this does seem a bit odd, as they must have storage nearer London than Alton towers!

The building is near the entrance to the driving school in the towers wall, i.e. if you walk past the bungee trampoline things through the arch in the wall, the building is on your right as you face the driving school!

Any ideas:?:

Perhaps AT are going to go retro and have a waxworks exhibition in Towers Street again.

But I reckon your theory is right that it's storage for Madame Tussauds in London. London's only a few hours away from AT after all and it's got the space for storage.

I just got an email from someone randomly saying -

"hiya the room you are talking about is storage for wax work molds as space is expensive in london so store them in there"

So there you go! :P

If they were Wax Works moulds, does that mean that somebody famous could have once been inside them?

Maybe its used by Tussauds Studios North which is loacated just behind The Towers. They created the Stealth tyer there so maybe they do some of the wax work models there aswel?
