Wow :D.

This re-branding is absolutely fantastic! If this is the amount of effort they are going to be putting into the park in the future, then I see a very exciting future indeed.

It's just so satisfying to see Alton doing something that is worthy of the park and the potential the park withholds!

Just had a quick look on there and there is a new waterpark one too. They've called the image "Alton Towers Waterpark" Seems Waterpark is taking more priority over Cariba Creek..... :-k

The only reason i can think of why its been done like that is because maybe people didnt know what Cariba Creek was. I know i wouldnt if it was the first time i went to towers. So by saying Waterpark. People Really do understand there is a waterpark called Cariba Creek.

I really think each area should have it's own logo, like this new one. It helps to signify the theme of the area in an easily recognisable way, stretches the importance of themed areas, etc.

I absolutely love these images.
Totally combines the modern with the magic.

It's scary how much these resemble doodles I sometimes make of rides on the backs of testpapers in school! Just goes to show really...

Oooh sorry, I didn't post the Driving School one, I thought people had already seen it.

Anyway, for those of you that haven't seen the "Alton Towers Waterpark" one, here it is:

The heads look out of proportion to me. :?

In fact, the people don't look real at all in that one.

Uuh, they look brilliant don't they?! They've done a lovely job! I especially like the rapids one, it looks very enticing, they all do! I can't wait to see the new map!

Alot of them dont look "real" but thats because they are not "real" so to speak. They are a load of images edited together. I mean the woman on the Charlie 1 has no legs as far as I can see, but no one will stand there studying the images for errors will they? (other than us lot lol) Anyone else think that they people and infact whole feel is very similar to the air artist impression?

I was also thinking of similarities of the Duel, RBBB and Spinball impressions of recent years, the park's last big change in this area came in 2005 with Rita's 'questionable' ad campaign and a new style of map.

I think we're looking at a big branding change for next year and hopefully a more consistent park/resort in terms of signage...

The hotel suites also look to be getting a similar treatment. Here's the new artwork for the Imperial Suite:

These do look very good, and look like they have a bit of #magic’ in there, especially compeered to the promotion images we have had in recent years.

If these pictures are anything to judge the 2008 season by, I think it is going to be a very good one.

Wow. Loving those images, thanks for that!

I like the direction being taken, but where are these going to be used mainly?

I love them! They're magical, and I didn't think I'd be saying anything like that so soon! :D

I'm really excited about nest season now, it's looking really promising.

Now this is what we want to see!..... :D

Very professional and magical, the Oblivion and Katanga Canyon images stand out in particular. Hopefully we'll see none of those stupid tacky stripes or any crappy slogans in 2008, just brilliant use of imagery such as this...

Hopefully we'll also see a new map to accompany all this fantastic material....

Well done Alton Towers!......

:)

Well done Alton Towers indeed!

For me all a great pieces of work apart from the driving school art which is a bit mediocre for my liking. All promotional images are however an improvement and fingers crossed are a sign of good things to come.
