Haha I really enjoyed reading that, especially when they both kept in theme with the tongue-in-cheek element

That is seriously enthusiasts, the spelling for one. They diddent even spell Rita right!

I also noticed they spelt Thirteen as "Thi3rteen" rather than "Th13teen" which is how the logo spells it. I know a couple of members that spell it like that.
Oh and Matt (GothicAngel) I think you have got half the labels wrong because I can't work out which lines are yours and which are the Wraiths.

i dont know why, but i was actually thinking of oblivion at one stage, with the videos, it apperently lulls you into a false sense of security about the sheer drop, i was surprised he/she/it didnt answer, and i recall calling thirteen: Thirteen,Thi3teen and Th13teen.

its nice to see an good array of videos, and that alton towers have seen that not only the people who have done extreme things deserve to ride, other people, like charity workers have been given this opportunity as well.
It\'s Big Bob, it\'s Big Bob, it\'s Big Bobs radio show.

Many applied, but the following brave souls are invited to boot camp and assessment centre at the start of March. Follow their progress as they face an unknown terror from an ancient crypt - those that emerge unscathed from the Dark Forest will be the first to experience Thirteen, the ultimate rollercoaster at the Alton Towers Resort..

Doesn't mention anything about the ride being at the start of March does it!

Also to them people being in the advert, I can't honestly see this. How can they act "that" scared if they aint. They aint trained to do this, hence it could take a lot longer than needed to get the correct clips. Can't honestly see it happening. Also it won't be a very pretty advert! *not being a bitch, just making a point*

Good luck to all competitors, also last tuesday I saw Richard Jones...twice; once in the morning in the Maccy D's in Uttoxitor and then later I was due to be in the same Oblivion car as him but it broke down and to quote him he was 'pissed off' with the down time and he left the queue :) but still well done. I don't think I've seen any of the other winners and in all honesty I was surprised that the 'gun' man Mobeen Qureshi got through but well done to him and all the others.

Nope, but it does say on the Alton Towers facebook page:

We need 20 people to come to bootcamp, spend time in the Dark Forest and the
survivors will be filmed the next day as first riders on Thirteen
!

Well done everyone who got on, and good luck.

That Wraith thing is clearly a joke, they have just taken all our ideas (I said about the park building it regardless of knowing you may not come back, someone else said about a ritual and so on).

Wow, I think the bootcamp will actually be a bootcamp - like they will actually kick some people off as it goes along, Big Brother style. (Alex Reid links becoming ever more clear)

Some of those videos are so funny with loads of effort put in.

I'd just like to say well done to everyone who got on.

Most of the people I thought should get on, have, and most are deserved.

As I said in the Shoutbox. Grant Bradley went to my uni, and lived with one of my mates. In fact she's in his video, unwittingly.

TTF has stayed well clear of this one! I only know of a small handful of people that applied!

I guess it's a geekstep too far for most.

:P
