Have to agree with this years FN - Experiment 10 was amazing, Asylum was a little improved, Se7en and The Curse were terrible and need replacing/updating.

Can't wait for ScareFest!

Thanks.

Best unintentional Experiment 10 pun EVER.

However, in all seriousness, I was very impressed with the Fright Nights offerings this year; the atmosphere on park was good (although not the same as two years ago with Inferno's amazing smoke), but the mazes were the real treat: Experiment 10 was wonderful and Asylum I felt was on top form, I was truly terrifying.

The less said about Se7en and THE CURSE the better, but all in all a good event, and I feel Alton have some serious competition in the form of Experiment 10 :).

I haven't been following this topic much this year, although I have a question, does anyone know if Mr Wardley has had any involvement with COS or Scarefest this year?

Been wondering about that myself. It was really good of him to get involved last year, I think John has a lot of talents and wizdom that the entertainments team can use to their advantage for an event like Scarefest.

Well I am sure that since Carnival of Screams will retain many of the elements from last year, I am sure Mr Wardley has indeed had some involvement.

Behind today's countdown door is a picture of the entrance to the COS and around it is advertisement posters of what you will find inside the COS

The posters advertise the following:
1) The Living Dummy
2) The Barker
3) The Killer Gorilla
4) The Klownz
5) The Invisible Man

The Posters show us that the COS is pretty much going to have the same sections/affects as last year but adapted and improved for the Black Hole Tent.

One thing i do not remember from last year is 'The Barker' Does anyone remember this part/section to the maze?

Yes, but I've heard that the mazes at Thorpe haven't lived up to there expectations, well thats what 'Merlin Mania' said.
I just really hope Alton's does though i loved it last year. :D

Out of the seven, we went in 6 (didn't bother with Saw as already been in it, and out of the 6, 3 were any good. The Dead Zone one which opened at dusk, was not worth the wait........I prefered AT!!!!!

i dont remember the barker at all from last year. i hope the invisable man scene is bigger though as in a bigger room would of been much more effective.

the COS final scare was great last year but i hope its changed this year to keep the awsome surprise

and on the TP mazes, they did live up to my expextations with the exception of expetiment 10 which i found had a great opening but not much there on

To be honest people have different point of views on mazes its your own decission how good/bad it is depending on how you are with mazes (ie if you are scared of them you will think how amazing it is, but if you have experienced worse yo may think it isnt as bad)

I've got a feeling last years final scene will be used in this years maze. I just don't think it will be this years finale.

I'm sure something new will end it!

Experiment 10
The Asylum
The Curse
Se7en
Saw Alive

No Hellgate or Terror Zone this year as they've been removed.

Are any of those a direct replacement to Hellgate, out of interest?

Wasn't "The Barker" the guy that led you into the maze?

we didn't have a person lead us into the maze :S also I dont remember the living doll. Unless you mean the opening scene which didn't look anything like the new guy.

Nah. Experiment 10 is in the Arena where Se7en used to be. Se7en has been moved onto Neptunes beach next to The Curse. And the other mazes are still in the same locations.
