Just rang the Chained Oak to try and book a room for Nov 4th but the whole guest house is booked out by the team that does the fireworks?

...so can anyone reccommend a guest house close by, i.e. walking distance?

Thanks

I believe its called Through Ivy house. If it is the one I am thinking of it is right next to the entrance gate.

I did once phone them and you park at the B&B for the day you are staying so you cant leave the car there is you have checked out and want another day in the park.

oh found them on TA, but cant find a website for them

There is the Trough Ivy House, just across the road from the gates. There's a bus stop there too. The website can be found here http://www.troughivyhouse.co.uk/

That's strange. When I stayed there they were very helpful. I didn't have a car, but they were very accommodating to those who did. Maybe it depends on if they are expecting new guests, because I believe their carpark is quite tight.

I think when I spoke to them (it was a few years ago) I think they did have more people turning up so if their car park is tight then it is understandable.

Will all food outlets be open for half term or just selected ones?

Nope, just certain ones. KFC and BK are not open along with the specialised AT outlets only places like the Pasty shed in MB and the Hotdog window in Towers Street.

Thinking of staying here in October. Has anyone stayed here in either the chalets or caravans? We will have our 2 kids with us age 3 and 8.

Thanks

Hey all,

Can anyone give me a rough idea how much the restuarants are in the AT hotels, say with 2 beers or a glass of wine and then how much generally it is to have a couple of jars after dinner. I have an Annual Pass, but i presume it doesn't work on alcohol :(

Cheers

I'm not too sure how much it would cost you, but you will still get your 20% discount on alcohol. The cost of food will depend on if you go to Flambos or The Secret Garden Restaurant, Flambos is the cheaper of the two.

Hi all, I'm considering getting an annual pass this year, I won't be able to afford it till June (holiday to pay for :-D) does the pass last until June 2012 or will it expire at the end of the season?

Help would be very much appreciated!

The pass will expire one year from when you buy it, so June 2012.

Me and two friends have bought an AP each through the Facebook deal. I have the printed out receipt here, do we just rock up to the ticket office to get a special AP ticket to get us through before collecting our AP's?

I have an AP already but had to buy at that special price!

It's inside the theme park past the turnstyles on the left... However I know the Annual Pass office is being renovated at the moment so it might be relocated, just ask a member of staff if you can't find it :)
