I would be terrified. It scared me when I was riding the flume during the daytime, while I was with other people. If I was walking down there after dark on my own, and that started to light up and quack at me, idk what I'd do but it wouldn't be good

Alton's Twitter team claiming the clues started years ago, meaning that this may actually mean something.

I'm going to be honest here, the social media team are there to build hype about the development, it doesn't necessarily mean they know any more than we do ;)

This looks to me like a racing coaster! I would be so happy if Alton got a modern Grand National :)

Layout looks very promising for a woodie looks too simple for steel.

It seems as though the Flume station remains standing (round building on the left). Another Flug Der Damonen scenario it seems...

EDIT: It seems that a path leads inside/replaces here, maybe a new viewing area?

EDIT 2: This actually is called "smokehouse". A new restaurant as well it would seem!

Tried to do an overlay over alton towers from the air:

Smaller than I'd of hoped & a simple layout. My guess is a dueling water coaster perhaps.

Follow the link in Owen's post and then look through the links at the bottom. Although when clicking on the different plans it is coming up with a server error :yikes:

I'm kind of hyped and a bit underwhelmed, it looks very short and quite simple, can anyone figure out the length? It looks good, but I'm not sure about amazing although plans can be different to reality (look at The Smiler) But then again it could be anything, but it does look like a woodie.

Worlds first launched duelling coaster. Placing £20 down on it.

I may be completely wrong but it looks as if it has one station and the walls could be walls... to hold water...

I really dont know but the layout looks meh to me.

I'm probably completely wrong but i swear I remember someone saying the layout doesn't have to be exact. Could this not just be a placeholder if that's the case?

Something else to point out... It says 'preshow?' in a red block.

That's correct. They could build the coaster completely differently as long as no different trees are removed, and the buildings aren't changed. The coaster itself is inside the GDO I think. At the top of the lift/launch? it says HP 201 and around the ride it stays around HP and LP 180. not sure what that means but its interesting.
