Anyone know the bounce back prices for this year? Wondering whether to buy a 2 day ticket online or buy the one and get the second day while at the towers.

Pretty sure it's £9 next day but I can't be 100% sure on that.

£9 is indeed correct, and £15 for any non consecutive day!

Went to Thorpe on Friday afternoon with a Tesco cereals Bogof voucher to get two tickets for Saturday.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could buy a 3 day ticket and still get one free.
It was only about £6 extra in total to add on the two extra days.
I also only paid for the one days parking at £4 and got the other 2 days free.

So 3 days in the park for both of us with parking for £53.. Bargain

I've just been on a 2 for 1 hunt in tesco, and my god theres loads of things.
Its mostly Tesco Own brand stuff, Cerials, Kids squash, Crisps, Frozen stuff, and all the stuffs cheap too, I got two big bags of crisps with 2 for 1 on them for £1 each!

When I was at the customer services desk, there was a leaflet listing all the things you could find 2 for 1 on, so if your looking, I'd pop in there and check :)

It's on their most popular own brand lines, yep. Well worth popping in to grab something for the sake of getting the voucher.

I agree with you, but in my local Tesco they've stopped it on the cereal and crisps now just to inform everyone. Maybe they're slowly phasing it out for the Summer Rush?

I wouldn't be surprised if that were true, particularly as the offer has been running for (what at least feels like) quite a while. It's not a huge deal though, as there will be plenty of other places to get 2for1's over the summer for sure!

Your definately not wrong there... I first recognised that Tesco near me had gone Merlin crazy when i went to stock up on munchies for "Project X" - and that was on March 4th.

But for special offers, that is a while though. I believe you are right Brightside, but no need to worry guys. There is still great offers elsewhere in newspapers and Campsites etc.

I'm sure that many of us are fully aware that people have been selling free tickets obtained from The Sun on popular auction sites such as eBay. Well, look at this!
http://www.blooloop.com/PressReleases/U ... Touts/3471
Someone's been successfully prosecuted for doing so. And there's quite a good quote from a senior member of Alton Towers management, although it does seem to become slightly promotional towards the end - which, in this case, I can understand a bit. :)

I get the impression that this chap had already been handed and injunction and has broken that hence the jail term.
It doesn't say whether he was actually one of the touts that plague the entrance to the park.
I doubt he was selling the odd ticket on eBay though

Well, whatever the circumstances of the case may be, they've taken action, and it's worked. :)
