SBNO Rides

Wed Apr 03, 2013 8:55 am

I'm not sure if there's already a topic for this but, how many SBNO rides are there still at Alton Towers? Is it just Nickelodeon Outta Control? :)

I've always wondered why they've kept nickelodeon outta control how it is for so long, even the look of it bares no relevance to the area any more, surely they can find some use for the building!  :?

Beastie is indeed gone, and it doesn't look like they took too much care of the poor thing in it's final hours at the park...

This of course makes me think the ride may well be destined for the scrap heap. RIP.

Is that big Blue metal fencing still up in adventure land? Can't believe it's taken this long to remove it. Maybe it's the start for new area for 2014.

Oh my, I don't even remember that ride! Alton do a pretty decent job of using it or getting rid of it so to say. And let's face it, closed rides look awful.

It wasn't a bad kids ride. I enjoyed it when I was younger

Nickelodeon I think still exists (though behind closed doors) in one of the buildings in Cloud Cuckoo land. There's a comprehensive article about it here:

I have read that article, and it is a shame that nothing has been put into the old building. Maybe in the future something will take over this space.
