What can you ride if you're pregnant?

Wed Oct 09, 2013 6:52 pm

I'm going during Scarefest and my sister will be 2 months pregnant. What rides will she be okay to go on?

I'd read the information boards but I think most of them advise not for pregnant people, or it would be at her own risk.

I was just thinking about things like the Rapids, The Flume, the Mine Train and Duel ect. Its a shame the farmyard is closed :( haha

Try having a look through This PDF Document which has various information about the rides including suitability for pregnant women (around page 7 onwards)

Umm tricky one, Rapids should bee fine, Duel, battle gallons, Ice Age 3D, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, twirling toodstool and nutty squirel.

TBH I would aviod the petting zoo as animal waste and baby dont mix!  Ultimatley its her own choice however if it were a member of my family or a friend I would say nothing that will put any risk towards the baby.

Still plenty to do through!

Rapids & The Flume are unsuitable for pregnant women due to sudden movements and bumps.

My misses went on Nemesis when she was 6 weeks preg. We didn't know that she was at the time.

That happened to my friend, her mum went on Oblivion when she was pregnant with her and didn't know. I suppose it's an easy way to beat the height restrictions XD

I wouldn't recommend Rita, oblivion, nemesis or air for onbvoius reasons. However 13 should be fine and sonic as they don't put pressure on your stomach. I suppose it all depends on how far in to the pregnancy she is

Also with scarefest running from 10am to 9pm it is a long day for a preg women. I would not risk it as if she loses or causes damage to her baby she wouldn't forgive herself. I would go Scarefest next year.
