Is it just me, or have they started to play 'Prepare for air, assume the position: now flyyy, flyy' on air now, as it was on, on sunday!!

It has always done that.

I have an annual pass and make a visit most Saturdays, I never hear that being played.

I've only ever heard it/noticed it once when I last visited. It's usually very quiet and can't be heard over the racket of everything.

I hear it on every visit?

The "Prepare for Air" line gets played as the craft is tilting back into the flying position, "assume the position" as the craft locks into place and the "now fly" as the craft gets dispatched.

8-[ Its either very low or I'm seriously in a world of my own. I personally cannot recollect hearing anything. Only things I hear in the station area is "All clear" from the ops.

I hear nothing on this video taken last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMKuMYphBHI

Probably the reason I don't hear it is because of the screaming, general chatter & the train locking in the position before dispatching.

After having a quick browse of the Alton Towers Twitter feed this morning, it appears we may be seeing another ticket price increase in the near future.

When asked how much it would be to enter during Scarefest using a 2 for 1 voucher, Alton Towers replied with the following:
@altontowers: pricing is subject to change. It's full admission on the day & Mazes are additional, thank you

Maybe I'm reading too much into this but the wording of the responses suggests a price increase may be on the horizon.

Why up the pricing, and make you spend a minimum of 20 pound for the mazes without an AP. For the select few who do pay full price, that's £70 already! I don't see much point as the main draw for a lot is closed (the smiler in the dark, unless it re opens soon) and you have to pay for the mazes, could possibly just put more people off.

Try to take some photos of the shipping containers near the towers, there seems to be activity surrounding those recently.

kk... Seems like it'll be a moderately busy day, queues are 35 mins for sonic, 30 for octonauts, 15 for oblivion, 30 for air, 40 for th13teen and 15 for rita... Just about to get to AT, but my friend has texted me current queue times!! Put the ridetimes.co.uk to shame!!
