Even the Alton Towers staff are impressed by how awesome the new mazes are!

Okay, so Sub Species is probably the best maze I've ever done. So good I went on it again instantly afterwards. Just fantastic!

Was also wondering, if anybody had any more info on the Scare Zones. Are they taking the direction of american scare zones when we will find ourselves walking to the rita due with no theming and just actors roaming. Or is actual areas of the park like previous years that are themed well etc

Well I was on park Wednesday and yesterday and saw nothing in FV/Dark Forest. Maybe I'm blind but I searched, rode the skyride over DF and couldn't spot anything of substance to indicate that its a scare zone, so come 5pm tomorrow I guess we'll see.

I don't know where the American idea came from, I think a misunderstanding, but I've checked tweets etc and its lead me to thinking of just split off zones, not full areas. But that's me just speculating.

In sub species, do you get split up so you are on your own or in a small group?

There is a high chance you will be split up Mastero1700 quite abruptly :)

Here is the towers lit up, photo cred redappleuk.

It seems sometime tonight some people got to experience Lockdown.

Two hours complete in the Alton Towers Sub Species : Lockdown - we survived mutants/puzzles and plenty of scares. Superb fun.

Had an amazing preview of Operation Lockdown @altontowers #intense #endgames

So to confirm. Terror is a conga line with your 10 people. In Sub species there will be a high chance of u going round on ur own and On molly u will be blindfolded and walking but how will u know where u are going?

I think you're guided by a rope in Molly Crowe.

Yet more praise for Lockdown here, think Sub Species may have a good few years at Alton Towers Scarefest with all this great feedback. I may even need to book this 2 hour experience soon.

Operation Lockdown - the survival horror game @altontowers is genuinely brilliant! Can't praise it enough. #Scarefest

I don't want to give too much away more than I have already regarding Sub Species. If you want to find out I'm sure reviews will be all over the web tomorrow.

Your group will be split up and you will choose your own route in an attempt to avoid the creatures that chase after you.

Just been in sub species very very good!

Very dark, very confined, multiple routes, actors do what they want to you :) be warned.

If some of you are fans of hellraiser expect to see cenobite inspired creatures after you!

How long did it last? I'm excited now :D

Depends how fast you run through it & how much you get picked on by the actors, I was in the maze for around about 10+ minutes excluding the intro etc.

In The End Games, is which ending you get based on which way you go in the maze or on who gets to the end 1st?
