Near the food outlets with Blade on the left I presume & Ripsaw would of been straight ahead behind those trees.

Wow. Little things like this are going to make the park look so much more professional, and I could not be more convinced that Alton Towers is opening this year as a more aesthetically pleasing park than it ever has been before.

I'd love to know how much they have spent on paint, and how much has been used!

I'm pleasantly surprised by every update that is happening thanks to TLC. When first announced it seemed to be a bit of a laugh, just a fancy word for winter maintenance.
However I think this really has surprised all of us, and it's nice to see them using this year to bring the park up to standards expected of the UK's 'greatest theme park.'
I hope the work continues, and look forward to seeing it all in person soon :)

The Nemesis Gun in Forbidden Valley has received a makeover. It now looks fantastic in a fresh coat of paint and having most of it's features restored. Hopefully this means the smoke effect will be back too.

I have to say I am very impressed with the extent of the refreshes in Forbidden Valley and am incredibly excited to see these in person on opening day :)

I know we won't see any pics of Galactica until they reopen, but I'd expect the area around there will be looking nice too :)

I think with these improvements, the park will be having the best year it's had since 2010 or even before that (can't remember before 2010) obviously not in how well it does visitor wise, but the park will look, sound and feel amazing! This is a big shout but I think by 2018-2020 we may see the best years since 1990-2002!

I believe it's the helix around the monorail support.

After all these FV improvements, I hope Sub-Terra is back in operation. If not, we have a fantastic looking area with a ride count of 3.

I think that of all the closures, Sub-Terra is the one they need to reconsider.

Hi, I'm a little confused in to why Sub-Terra was closed in the first place and why it might remain closed, can anyone explain or have any ideas? Thanks
