in terms of the big spider, i dont think its been confirmed to be a spider, the way i took it was that it is was big robotic arms, the train passes through this element three times i think, so itll play some sort of part in the ride but i think its more theming than ride interaction. maybe the arms move, rotate, sweep over the ride and such :/

It says in the plans that the arms will remain static. They may not even use that anymore, who knows what changes we will see in the finished article.

With the revealing of the secret element, shouldn't we see some plans for the inside section soon? By the looks of the size of the building itself there should be a good layout with some decent illusions/special effects if AT do this right.

on the topic of the glass floor, I like the idea, for the people in the shop it will provide some laughs and strategic placement of expensive merchandise  :P However, as for when you are actually on the ride, wouldn't a load of people shouting at you from a crowded shop take away from the mood and experience of the dark section?

Just my views.

Someone mentioned before the possibility of one way glass, so they see in but riders cant see out, that would solve that problem.

Yeah i really hope AT don't go too overboard with the revolving track, i only really think it needs to do one, maybe two inversions before it becomes a bit tedious.

What about the plans for the dark sections? Has anyone heard when they are going to be released?

14-8=6, guys, there are 6 track revolutions.

They will most likely not release any more plans, they already have planning permission, and therefore don't need to. Unfortunately (unlike N:ST) the internal plans were not hidden in the submitted application.

There could be some inversions in the building so not necessarily 6 times, like SAW there could be a barrel role inside the building

I'm so excitied about SW7 now! I can't wait till opening day! I really pleased with the pivoting track idea as I also once dreamt up this concept a long time ago; Roll on March! :D

Been away a couple of days so I have only just seen the new information and all I can say is WOW!
I love the idea of a glass floor in the shop but could it be used as that glass that is blank on one side but you can see through on the other.

P.S could we have a spoiler free topic for people to talk about development in construction and advertisement without being given spoilers

The park currently has sections of rides that can be combined to achieve the effect.

Ghost Ride -> Spiral Tunnel Effect.
Hex  -> Swinging Carriage
13 -> Carriage locking on to "trick" track.

Another possibility is a robotic arm.

Is that 9 or 10 inversion on the plans? My take on the ride sequence.

Loading Station(s)
Corkscrew / Loop
"Trick" Track
Curve
Transfer Track
1. Launch into a inverted top hat.
2. Diving half loop
3. Diving half loop
4 + 5. Batwing
Vertical Lift
6. Extremely Over-banked (< -90 Degree) Curve
7. Corkscrew 1
8. Corkscrew 2
9 + 10 Batwing
11.  Corkscrew.
Over-banked curve
Braking
Offload Station.

just out of curiousity, could it include the 'thirteen drop' section down to the rotating track piece as it seems that could be a possible way of getting to a similar levels

Given that it's a different manufacturer it doesn't seem very likely.

Well Th13teen is Intamin and Verbolten is Zierer so that theory is out the window.

It is possible that Gerstlauer have also been working on a drop mechanism, however I highly doubt that one will feature here as they already have th13teen. Why would they want another one one the next coaster?

I was sincere in my speculation. I have posted previously on another thread that I wondered if trick track was involved and if it rotated around its axis.

I also mentioned previously in this thread that this will cause them to claim the record.

I'm just marrying the two ideas.
