But consider the viral advertisement for Swarm with ride dummies with torn limbs...

The Public don't care.

dont you think that is exactly what they will play on, this will be the year when alton towers markets a ride as terrifying and white knuckle and it actually will be, the lap bars will set it apart from the rest, i mean what theres G-Force at Drayton that practicaly hangs you by your waist upside down and people still go on it.

Well if this is true about the 4x4 (compact) trains, it's something i've never seen or heard of until now, and all the worry of people not wanting a gerstlauer due to it's standard trains which give it a bad throughput, don't have to worry! :)

It's been confirmed by Alton Towers that the cars are 4x4. Also confirmed that 64 people will be on track at a time.

Ah yes... My Bad.

So with this new info about the train, do we think its going to comprise of 2 cars of 8 or 4 individual rows of 4?!?!?!

Thats what i thought - until i read through the press release again....

Passengers per ride train – 16 (4x rows of 4)

Surely the use of the word train means it will be multiple cars linked together!!

I cant see a car that big getting up and down the lifthill.

Just seen this

http://www.rideentertainment.com/gerstlauer-blasts-into-the-future

Next year we are busy doing more classics like hybrid coaster trains and Bobsled Coasters, but also some more firsts, such as our newly-designed 8-passenger launch vehicles.”

Could it be 2 of these together with a launch?

As far as I am aware the trains will be like two Eurofighter cars coupled together. so 4x2 followed by 4x2.

It can't be one solid car because it would never make it round the track.

I know this sound barmy but maybe the train is together but sort of separated like a B&M floorless like this:Image

I know its a bit out there but i can't see a solid 4x4 train getting up a vertical lift hill so it might be slightly separated but connected so it flows smoother. i don't have clue this is just a theory. Obviously its not gonna be a B&M train but it might look a tad like it :)
