I think that's a protective film covering the letters over to protect them. They'll be removed before long, and the actual colour underneath will be revealed.

Ah, in that case they're probably stickers or plastic or something, not paint as first thought :)

According to TowersTimes News:

'Ride testing is due to commence on Tuesday 30th April if all goes to plan. This will start with electronic component testing as well as lift hill chains, ride sensors and braking systems. The rides trains are expected to appear on the track a few days later where full testing will begin shortly afterwards'

http://old.towerstimes.co.uk/news/news. ... t=1,10,11&

The trains will be in the maintainance shed at the moment and will be taken out for testing sometime in the first week of May

They are lifted with a crane and will be feed onto the track in sections (whether it be two by two or individual rows) then joined together to create the full 4 rows that make up a train.

Looks like PVC letters. They look good. The concrete walls do not :-(

Has anyone noticed how at the back of the station, where the final brake run meets the station, there's what looks like a gate?

Does anyone know what this might be for?

Can you find a clearer image than that? If that is what you mean, then its scaffolding to stop people falling off the edge while they are working in the station - 'elf and safety guv'.

Gerstular seem pretty sure that the support error is going to be fixed , and the vertical lift hill theming is being quickly assembled but apart from that its all inside I suppose. Im not speculating but I wouldnt be suprised if we see some CCTV cameras on that bridge, as someone rightly said earlier the game seems to be pretty acurate. :D

Is it only me that feels the lettering at the base of the vertical lift isn't straight? Maybe a spirit level would help?

She's right about "Mental Queues"

DeanGaryCox wrote:
looking into the information from towerstimes it would give a guess of 2 weeks of full testing to be open on the 17th/18th... how on earth would 200 hours of testing be done in that time; if the information is correct, then is anyone actually so sure of the 200 hours dedicated testing time, or is it less then.

Well I am hoping, I'm free on the 23rd and 24th so I think I would pop by either day in any case.

Let's hope they have a virtual queue on this thing.
