yes. It is supposed to be today, no doubt we will get news of it as the day goes on...

Is tonight's press event literally just for the press to ride the coaster and write a new report? Or are we expecting any more information to be released regarding the ride? If indeed there is anymore information to be announced.

There has got to be something new coming out today... We've had press shows and rides all week, why do they need a big press announcement now, unless they have something new to add?

Its not an announcement its just a big event because it is finally complete it's so the press can get images and more information about the ride

Edit: A media event is an event or activity that exists for the sole purpose of media publicity.

Daytime tv has covered it, including blue peter, it's had a full page spread in almost every national newspaper... It's been ridden and reported about by everyone from a weather girl to radio presenters, and yet after all this, they're calling a press event... To announce what? "come and take some more photos - we've mopped the station floor"

Precisely they do exactly the same for all their rides

Well if they have nothing new to add then I can't see any of the media that have already done coverage will bother coming back, that's all

BBC haven't done any coverage yet so thats a large section and most national newspapers and local

If they are using projection mapping, i'd love to see them set it up in the room for the press event, it'd be like the end of Video 2 where Miles is laughing at the patterns on the wall

Ive got to congratulate them on the marketing within the last week.... So many papers have had articles..... And I have been approached more than once saying that people understand what I was talking about when I said it looked fantastic XD

I have been trying for so long to get people to have a look then within the last week it seems everyone thinks they know everything XD
