That flower bed SCREAMS abandoned British architecture/site and I love it, it suits the theming so well.
Lenticular photos would be a fantastic ploy to easily squeeze an extra few quid from visitors, as I'm sure a lot of people would be like "Wooooaaaahhhh it's like a 3D picture of me innit!!!" so nice thinking on Thorpe's part.
Those posters cannot possibly be misdirection now if they've got the "NO DRILL, NO SPILL" merch now.
Also, has anybody mentioned the "all loose articles must be secured" guideline? Not sure if that'd be just to reduce on-ride photography or if it actually suggests some rigorous movement or having to wear a restraint on-ride?
Glad to see some people are still keeping their eyes peeled for more stuff to report, I'd miss a lot of this if I was to go regularly.

This could be just them covering themselves from a liability point of view, in case a phone falls out of someone's pocket, but personally I'm hoping it's something like what you've suggested :)

Great idea, but it doesn't look great. Hopefully it looks better after testing and seeing it in person.

Maybe not a drop, but like a swaying or or shaking chair to help with vr immersion?

Here's a video of staff testing out the VR for Ghost Train - some of their reactions are interesting!

I wouldn't be so sure, I think at this point we should know not to jump to any conclusions about this project! ;)

The resort certainly wouldn't be so sloppy to show anything that would hint at anything to do with the ride experience. :)

Could all be an illusion. Derren Brown is an illusionist after all. And it did mention 'grand illusion' maybe this is it. Also this a very similar image as to what I had in mind for how he train would look.

I think it's pretty clear that the suspended carriage isn't going anywhere, however that's not to say that you won't be sat inside something that does have the ability to move.

They don't reveal anything more, but the full batch of photos from this press release is now available on SouthParks' DBGT page.

Oh no, the suspended carriage won't be moving, however there is a likely chance there is a ride vehicle inside it (the themed ones we saw) that could be moved out of it - at least that's a possibility I see as likely. :)
