Those reviews sound intriguing to me and it will be interesting to see how the new segments are incorporated into the attraction. I'm certainly excited about it and looking forward to experiencing it :)

Any news regarding it having a soft opening before the 31St? I'm half expecting somebody to say it's running today!

Nothing is expected, I expect if anything it'll be something next week with select people (hotel guests etc) similar to last year. :)

In other news, the second extension has been painted and it does look quite good!

Isn't weird that Derren's new show that is happening right now is called 'Derren Brown Underground', just like the underground station and theme that is or was based in this attraction???

I think its called Underground because Charing Cross Theater is an underground theater. All the show is is him redoing some of his personal favourite 'tricks'. I do not believe there is any connection between this show and Rise of the Demon.

Please indulge in being cynical for a second.

I think the exterior additions to Ghost Train look good, but I also feel this should have been there all along. In all honesty I suspect that the ride was in fact nowhere near completion when it opened last year and 'Rise of the Demon' is nothing more than the finished product we should have had from the park when it opened.

Here's the advert for Ghost Train 2!

The trailer hints at the rumoured darker tone and 'isolated' feel of the ride!

Whilst some aspects have been pulled through, the feedback has been worked on with brand new content and sections being added to the ride, not to mention new extensions not part of the original plans - so whilst this version will undoubtably superior, it's certainly not what would have been last year! :P

It actually looks better though, it adds an actual distressed look to the ride rather than a fake one

According to people on Facebook, the ride has had some kind of preview already after many claim to have seen people going into the attraction.

If this is true it's a very good sign as it means that the ride is ready for intensive use almost a week in advance - hopefully leading to less tech issues this year!

It's also rumoured that previews for hotel guests start next week.

Interestingly, this has been spotted in Chertsey.

It is genuinely related to the attraction (don't worry you won't be phoning a random person) and it's quite a nice little way to market the ride!

I'll not spoil the surprise, but do go ahead and ring the phone number! It's a rather cool way to market it as Owen said!
Ride count since the beginning of 2015: 1770!
Ride count 2019: 618!
Cred count: 88!

I don't really get what really went on in that phone call. Just them saying the ride name

Its a publicity stunt, like with the dolls on the tube. Its just a smaller one compared to what we are used to from Merlin

So will the Rise Of the Demon tagline stick forever or will it just be this season to rise the hype?

I believe this is being treated like a sequel. So, the tag line will remain until they decided to change it a new 'sequel'. :)

You won't need to worry about previews as it opens on Friday :)
