So anyone got any information on these events? What rides will be open? How long will the rides be open for? etc etc!

It says its starts at 9pm and finishes at 2am! Does this mean the rides (which ever rides are running) will be operating till 2am!?!

Now that would be interesting and different to see! Thorpe already does this sort of thing with under 18s and late ride time usually until 9pm. Was this on the website?

Not gunna lie, I love ministry of sound stuff, it's great music (noise to others) but I'll be avoiding this like the plague. There's always Massive trouble at these sort events (talking from experience) due to the "clientele" that are attracted to this sort of stuff. :) although...2am ride time may well tempt me!!

Rides will likely close earlier than 2am. Most likely around midnight with the 'club' continuing until 2am in Port Atlantis.

I really can't see it working. The dome is hardly a decent venue for a few shops, never mind a club.

Im not sure a group of drunk people is a good idea on rollercoasters and big spinny rides? I guess it works fine with the under 18 night as there wont be alcohol, but of course over 18s = alcohol!

I think the dome could work as a club, im guessing they remove all the tables and lock all the shops up. But to be fair the whole dome needs a complete refurbishment. I think Thorpe are just testing these kind of events so when/if they build a hotel they can see how much a club or bar attached to it would work.

The space itself is OK, but the inferstucture is dire. I'm hoping they will install a new light and sound rig, as what the have is utter pants. As for the toilets....

I have to say I have never used to toilets in the dome, but they cant be any worse than some of the club toilets I have used!

These things are very much a test for potential future events.

The dome can be fantastic, anyone who has been to a Thorpe Park private/staff special event can vouch for that!

The dome is like a dated laisure centre - certainly not somewhere you'd want to go clubbing.

Agree with what others have said about the dome at private / staff events - Thorpe can do wonders with it!

Personally, I do think with the inside of the dome is a little outdated now, and the whole Port Atlantis theme is very much 'out of touch' with the park, so a little spruce up would be nice, though not necessary.

This certainly sounds good though; may go along to the July one depending on how the reviews go for the June one.  Not really a nightclub sorta person, but hey, rides in the dark? :P [/fanboy]

With how that is worded I would imagine ride close will be at 9pm at which time the MoS night will commence so more like riding at dusk than night but could be a decent event :)

The park is open till 7pm that day and then closes till 9pm when the MOS events starts and it says that there will be exclusive ride time on our adrenaline fuelled rides at this event. Surely that means there will be a few rides operating from 9pm onwards!?!

Hm, considering park close is at 7 - they still have to empty the queues and get people out after that time. So exclusive ride time from 9 instead of 7 makes more sense. Otherwise it's not very exclusive...

Im thinking the same rides as the Reload event will be operating? Swarm and stealth as well as a few small rides round that area?
