Watching that video really did reinforce to me how much "THORPE PARK" is like a glorified fairground - most notably the clip of Samurai at night!

The MTDP does look interesting :)
But can someone tell me if the 2012 coaster will be the 50m one of 45m one? Thanks :D

2012 Coaster = 50 Metres / 164 feet (B&M 4D Coaster)

2015 Coaster = 40 Metres / 131 feet

Thanks :)
Both very decent heights considering the previous limits and glad we're getting the taller one first to pull in the crowds from the olympics :D
More visitors at TP- More money for Merlin- More investment for AT 8)

^ thats one way of looking at it Thorpe park does seem to be a bit of a cash cow for merlin.

Is there anymore details on the 2012 coaster? Also can anyone tell me what a good example of a B&M 4D coaster is?

B&M don't make 4D coasters, they're just speculating as to what might be a new ride.

X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain and Eejanaika at Fuji-Q Highland are Arrow 4D coasters, it'd be similar to those I'd image...

The latest from TPR

The park walked us back to Saw: The Ride about 15 minutes before park opening.

OMG! The queue for Nemesis: Inferno looks VERY full! Our fancy coupons will get us right past the queue and directly on the ride!

We waited zero minutes for Nemesis: Inferno!

On a more serious note, do these clubs pay to get front of line passes/ERT or is it complimentary?

I think the park gives them to them, as a good will thing in return for the publicity and stuff that they will get, but I think the members of said site have to pay, although I don't actually know for certain, not being a member of that particular site.

I think the second and third comments sums up why I and many others are not fans of theirs. Egotistical, self-rightious idiots, who think they are better than the unwashed masses such as ourselves.
I'm surprised Bono isn't a member

I think you'll all be very very disappointed in the 2012 coaster.

No I meant, you're clearly implying you have some sort of insider knowledge about the 2012 coaster, just wanted any sort of proof or evidence of that, that's all :)

Let's say hypothetically I did have. What possible 'proof lulz' would meet with your satisfaction?

I can oblige with some photos of a shipping crate with an Intamin label stuck on them if you wish. I heard they went down a storm last time I did it. I'd need to change the manufacturer though.

I was there today and no they haven't.

Also a few notes that the Fastrack system is stupid, they where advertising it all day, we waited 40 mins to get it and they only had 1 place open. They are really pushing it as a huge money making scheme, if you dont get it you will only ride a few rides.

Saw was really rough today, my mates Ear was bleeding after being bashed around, I love the ride but its so bumpy and just gives me a headache.

Saw alive i saw two actors and they didnt move, just stood there and the photo guy was getting angry with us and pushing us to get into place etc, We had teenage girls at the front and they where too scared to get into place but the guy was getting really hands on to deal with the issue.

Lastly i know it was a school visit day but i saw SO MANY CHAVS and about 15 cases of que jumping, they where just running over the fences.

X:::?///&%^$*^NO WAY OUT had the lights on today for some reason, anyone know?

But overall had a ok day but the rides are getting boring and rundown now (Collosus, Samuri, Loggers Leap) Nice to see the Nemmi water mist etc
