Oooooooh. That will be cool if they painted the track red! But that wont happen. Its like how oblivion on the alton towers website was going dark red into the hole. :|

That billboard is huge! That really is going to provide an amazing near miss or two. Not sure how it belongs though on a small island with a church...

And how cool would The Swarm have looked with red track rails?!

Of course to an extent you have to suspend your disbelief with these things, but I think the plane is meant to have crashed on the island after being attacked by 'the swarm'. On the other hand the billboard would have been there in the first place and that is what doesn't make sense, you just wouldn't have one on an island next to a church.

Anyway, it will still look cool.

What I don't understand though is it ment to be a near miss or a keyhole? Plus if its that chunky when it's done it will be dissapointing

What are the odds of the billboard having an advert for "The Smiler" on it?

I'm very doubtful they'd do that. If it was a ride at the same park, then there would be a higher and more justified chance of doing so.

Furthermore, it's a piece of theming and so will fit with The Swarm's theme. You've got to think about rides as completely separate from one another (unless of course they have a shared story), and so the theme and story can never cross over, otherwise it can detract from the theme of that ride.

TP has been running a competition on it's Facebook page to think up a slogan to be written on the board.

I am aware of that, but surely there'll be more on it the just some graffiti, otherwise it will look boring, and they can't right the same thing on both sides as that would be silly. Perhaps a fake advert of some sort, that the slogan will be written on top of...?

Someone has already won that competition. The slogan will be 'war has evolved'
