I must not get carried away...I must not get carried away...
The name, although sounding a little iffy to me to start with is growing on me :). In all honesty, I'd rather The Swarm than some blatantly obvious name to do with devastation or a post apocalyptic world.
I absolutely love the video though, just enough to look at to get people excited whilst still retaining a tad of mystery as to the full storyline/theme of the ride. For most visitors who've probably seen absolutely nothing of the plans, the video should set things up nicely for the shock of seeing the plane and helicopter in the lake :).
Im trying not to get carried away with this due to some errr past Melrin additions, but this is looking absolutely world class - 2012 is looking to be an amazing year.
What was the original concept? I remember the mushroom cloud image and The End is Coming stuff, but I don't remember any more information than that. From what they have released today, for me it doesn't really deviate from anything, as I didn't know anything to begin with.
I think this is the problem with 65 pages of discussion before it was even announced :P. There was always an assumption
that we were looking at a nuclear apocalypse purely because of the mushroom cloud graphic and the end of the world viral marketing. Nothing has changed from the original marketing, it's purely because it's different to what a lot of people imagined.
On another note, what's the "missing wall" menu for on the website? It's not live yet, but I swear I've seen something on the net relating to LC12 about walls coming down in the past few months? Interesting nonetheless!
Roll on 2012!
