It does look very professional though. :) I would have gone with something like Apocalypse, but Drayton snapped that name up little over a decade ago..

I'm still hoping its not an alien invasion theme, I just think the futuristic theme gets outdated fast imo. The aftermath, of the coming of an end of a war between humans I'd rather. I know LC probably doesn't mean anything but I've heard some people say 'Last Call', I like the name but it doesn't seem right when I say it to myself like, 'I wanna go on Last Call next'. But to be honest, by the looks of things, it seems like it's going to be called War from the advert. I'm hoping the trains are army camoflauged colours ;D

It was the building in the background that did it for me. Too old compared to the concept art we have seen in the plans.

LC# is just Thorpe's project tag, much like SW# (secret weapon) is Alton's. Can't remember precisely what it stands for, but it's something like Looping/Lake Coaster. Thorpe's 2015 coaster already has the tag LC15.

I like the name war, fits in with the image I thought the ride was going to be.

Reminds me of fallout so much! :P war... War never changes!

Although can I say to everyone, dont instantly think war is the name, remember surrender in 2010?

I do love that blipvert looks amazing, although the logo reminds me too much of COD, if you waste money on that IP, I would never forgive you! :P

also, its now clear to me thorpe is the source of apocalypse, I mean they have death, pestillence, plague and now, new for 2012; war! The four horseman of the apocalypse are finally in one place!

So they didn't make it lol!
They took gears if war, removed the gears and of, and then added a red dot in the R, strange lol if it is the case.

To be fair, it's a pretty cliche font for such a theme. But yes that is absolutely hilarious!

Haha, nicely spotted whoever noticed it's the same font (or very similar) as Gears of War.

I don't think the name War is a good idea. Too much like Saw and inappropriate. I'm actually shocked they went with this kind of theme full stop, I was expected post-natural disaster as well.

Gears of War was what sprung to my mind too.

Damn you for spotting it too, I thought I had it rumbled! :P

Either that, or there is literally war on the way. I retain the right to be paranoid...

Oh, and I'm totally gunning it down to Thorpe next year :D

I know it's most probably a project tag and the letters probably have no significance to the actual ride name. I just liked the idea of Last Call/Last Stand. And nice spot on the Gears of War thing haha! Maybe it's themed to Gears of War? Humans VS. Aliens? Coincidence?

That would be brilliant! Only problem is that they couldn't bring the full potential out as the game is an 18.
