Camel backs are hills, but I think the term can be used on 0G rolls aswell, but as it would be difficult to do that on a DM, I think it's just a hill.

Pirate theme is odd, but should be a great ride regardless.

perhaps we might see a change in restraints?

Doubt it, B&M restraints are perfection. All I can see them doing is only having 6 or 8 across and two back, maybe floorless, but as far as restraints are concerned, I expect the same maginicence they have always used.

So this is likely to be a floorless dive machine? I think a junior coaster sounds good, if it has 6 per row to it will be lighter and more "manouverable" if you know what I mean! :D

It'll be something completely new.

2011 - B&M Coaster - Rumor - (10/8/10) Now this may be an odd shot in the dark here, but I’m starting to really think we may be seeing something new and unique about this Heide Park B&M coaster. In addition to this being listed as a Dive Machine style coaster, but using what appears to be standard sized coaster track, something else seems to be sticking out as being different. Take a look again at the picture of the track found on site previously and take a good look at those two straight track pieces… with what looks like fins sticking up on them.
A few others have pointed this out before, but these seem to be magnetic brake fins, not unlike the style of brake fins we’ve seen Intamin using for the past few years. Others have pointed this out as well, that this is new for B&M as every other B&M coaster with magnetic brakes uses a very different system that has a horizonal fin run through the magnetic braking channels mounted close to the center of the tracks. (See Here)
B&M doesn’t experiment or change things lightly so there has to be a reason for switching to this new narrow-profile system, putting the fins on the tracks instead. I wouldn’t think adding the mag-brake units to the trains was a benefit, as they have to be heavier than the fins, so the real purpose here must have been to open up some space under the center of the train for something new perhaps. About the only thing I can think of that would go there would be hardware for either a new style lift system (cable lift?) or could we be seeing brand new B&M launch system technology put to use here?

tl;dr: B&M are probably doing a cable lift or a launch coaster.

Heide Park: New Coaster B&M Confirmed

I still think this coaster may be a prototype for the Thorpe 2012 coaster. B&M 3 coaster deal for Gardaland, Heide Park and Thorpe using a new B&M system.

I dont think its a Copy of Seaworld, because there is the Name krankeN. And for that what they want to do this is a good Name i think.
I have some News:
The Romours that the Ride get some really special Trains are wrong, the got normal Dive coaster Trains with 3 Rows and 6 Peoples in Row. I am not really shure they are Floorless, but i think so.
The Ride ist 467m long and have following Elements:
Dive Drop
Immelmann
Airtime Hill and
Splash.

The first Drop gos into the Mouth of the Kraken and u will come out from an old Pirate Ship. On the Moment u will go out the told from an really Big Water Effekt. I am not shure the install there some Fountains ore they mean the Splash Zone.

Here a Picture:

Here is also a Video from the opening of the Name..REALY GOOD IDEA

I’m really looking forward to this :). It makes a change to see a dive machine that works on the fear of the unknown (Oblivion) rather than the American style (OMG it’s really high) DMs of late. Entering a Krakens mouth sounds amazing, it’s not surprising that John Wardley is rumoured to have worked on this ride.

Technically John (God) wouldn't be directly involved in the design of the theming, but he'd be there aiding with concepts, possible layouts and theme suggestions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he more in an advisory capacity now than an actual "big wig" as it were?

Interesting.

There will be 3 trains, each carrying 18 passengers.

Hmm, I was expecting 6x2 or 8x2, not 6x3. Interesting.

If the drop goes through the mouth of the kraken, that's a great touch, a dive machine actually being about what the original was created for, to scare people, not just about being the biggest. Although I don't know how you can explain the rest of the ride if you get eaten at the start :?

Not really, that is never implied at all. Wheras on this ride it sounds as if the whole coaster will lead up to the big "eating".

It looks like an interesting development, I will keep watching!
