Hopefully the maintenance building will not be a corragated shed.

I am moving to Germany just for this.
It looks amazing! Best Wingrider at the moment, IMO.

Well done Merlin, my faith returns in you after The Smiler disaster.
Yeey!

I know that a few weeks ago you said the queue would enter through the exit shop and I disagreed. After looking at the original plans it shows the queue entrance going under a small structure to the left of the shop, not through it

I never suggested that the queue would enter through the shop - I said it would go along the balcony on the front of it. However, the queue will obviously exit into the shop, once you've been on the ride.

I think there is 6 cars for those pictures. I would bet that there is another row which will face backwards and they have taken these pictures before adding them on. The reason I think it's only one row backwards is visitors will want to experience forwards before backwards so it would make sense only to have one row. And they will keep it quiet until almost opening.
Just my thoughts :)

Very odd decision making it six rows. Would be very surprised if they added an additional row - it's not what B&M would do.

I just don't see another 2 rows appearing, you can see the rear train bumpers at the end of the train.  Also, the train has a certain mass, it's part of the calculation for something having enough momentum to complete a circuit around the track, it makes absolutely zero sense to send round an incomplete train for testing purposes.

The decision of 6 trains may reflect in the ride experience, the main criticism of wing riders has always been the lack of intensity/speed, this is one way to make them more agile, granted Swarm certain rips around a lot better after 2 years of bedding in.

According to Heide Park

Track Length: 772m
Capacity: 1,060 guests per hour (two trains)

The Swarm Length 775m
Capacity (apparently) 1100 guests per hour.

That's an interesting one.

Heide park have posted some pictures of the test dummies with pictures of people's face attached to them on their Facebook page. Not too sure what this is about but thought I'd post it :)

More pictures on the minisite showing that the airgates are in place...

A member on CoasterFriends then explained what the baggage hold system appears to be...

Image

So whilst queuing at the gate you place your bags in through the red opening, and then upon disembarking you collect them from the blue opening. Obviously there are three different sections that must rotate, for the different batches of riders.

I must say the trains look very "swarm-esque" with the shell faces looking exactly like the swarm, just a lot posher and brighter!
THE SWARM, oblivion,air,colossus.all epic.:D
