The name of the new coaster has been confirmed by Phantasialand in this video to be Taron. It also gives us an idea of what the theming may be like. The video description also states that it will be Europe's fastest multi-launch coaster. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRmx2gabrJY

That's certainly a rather intriguing video. I've not been able to find much of relevance from the name itself, either as a German word, or an English word, however the styling of the font the name is presented in could give us some clues. It's almost quite Nordic/Viking in style from what I can tell, although the Nordic/Viking feel doesn't seem to be reflected in the graphics in the video. Do we know if a new area is being created for this, or is it going into an existing area?

It's going into a new area called Klugheim, I believe.

I'm haven't been flowing this ride long, what are they building that surrounds the ride? Is this going to be indoor or is this just theming structures? Thanks! :)

Does anyone know the budget for this beast? Said once again, looks great - especially for such a fairly small theme park. Will be making a visit to see once it opens!

This image has been posted on NoLimits Exchange showing further track going up for Taron, looks to be a very very twisted layout!

More and more track is appearing at Phantasialand, this time unwrapped. These pieces show that Intamin are using a new track style, much like the new generation Infinity coaster track Gerstlauer have used for Junker and Karnan.

Got to say, the layout looks great. It's a very twisty coaster and I quite like that. Are there going to be any inversions on this ride?
