Proper nifty that, especially for a test-run! :D

The music in the first video isn't the ride music is it...?

Great to see it running! Personally I do think it is a little on the short side, but none the less looks good!

It is short, but we've known that all along.

It is the same duration, pretty much exactly, as Joris en de Draak.

At least it is longer than Swarm :P

As you know Dan, I have lost a lot of enthusiasm for this project! And we all know I hate the interaction with Atlantica! :( However I agree it's a great addition to the park and I like the entrance feature and the tunnels/rock work they have done so far! As I have said though I will reserve judgement until I have ridden it!

BARNES BARNES.

Do you still think it looks poor based on the videos today?

:P

I've never actually said it looks poor! I just don't have much enthusiasm for it! Sure it looks a decent speed and what-not I just don't think it fits in the area! That's obviously just me! :P

Hey with me being negative about it, hopefully I will come off after riding thinking it's amazing! At least I can't be let down!

Boyfriend and his best friend = disowned for the duration of my Wodan experience ;).

Dan and I shall scream merrily for our first ride on Wodan TOGETHER, without HAAATTERRRZZZZ whinging about the colour of the 'barn' or the length of the thing :P.

Personally?
I did a little wee when I saw the videos...

I think the situation with the "ruining" of Atlantica will be more than made up for by the slight enhancement to Atlantica on-ride. The head chopper effect of riding it should be quite cool.

I think the layout on Wodan remains short, although it is identical in duration to Joris en de Draak so it's not too bad, and I think the quality of theming (pretty much the best in the world for a wooden coaster) will more than make up for any concerns.

We shall see, anyway! I am so impressed with the speed of it. Looks unrelenting.

:)

My reputation on this forum has been tarnished by Russell and his epic fail! :P

I think this looks quite good, nothing special, but solid! I am looking forward to riding it!

Like I said, with low expectations, hopefully I will come of pleasantly surprised! I would rather have it this way than build it up so much and be like' oh was that it?!' :)

This Video is the best Wodan Test video so far, showing the ride testing from two angles.

Gives a good sense of the pace.

*Actually* going to need to take some Tena lady on holiday... YUM!

I really hadn't realised how much speed this beauty would pick up - it's a lot faster than I had ever imagined! Okay so we might not get sacks of airtime, but the sheer thrill of racing around at such a relentless pace will be incredible.

Considering Europa are so family orientated, I expected a lot tamer!

I think this will pack some airtime, this is an early run of the trains, bearing in mind the bearings will wear in this will go with a bang and looking at the way its dropping off some of those hills already this will pack a punch.... Also they look to be metal wheels... i thought we where getting steel coaster wheels?
