Well it was less then 10 years ago but Drayton Manor had a Mine Ride witch had two loops ..... i was wondering if any one knew the name ? i think it was where G-force is now.

so if any one had any pics or the name would be thanked :)
Was the first "proper" roller coaster i went on.

It was called "Klondike" and no, it only had one loop.

Look in my "Worlds smallest loop?" topic just below this one for photos of it now, which is a weird coincidence :P

EDIT: RidinRita beat me too it :P

Also worth a mention .... the Klondike was a retheme of the ride in it's original state "The Python" which was the same layout, with less mine train theming and was red .... it was the scariest ride at the park when I first started visiting the park as a child.

Not bad for a Pinfari although remember going on it when I was about 11 and the OTSR wasn't working properly which scared thepants off me at the time :D

Well sort of, but The Python was actually a different ride to the Klondike all together, even with same layouts.

Klondike was manufacturerd in late 1994, early 1995 and was replaced with The Python due to defective steel that was found to be used in The Python, plus The Python was on charter, and obviously the park liked that style of ride at the time, and decided to buy their own.

I can remember this ride, I used to love it and it was my second big coaster. I remember visiting DMP once and we were planning on going on Klondike and then I was like 'What the hell? They're demolished it?' and G-Force's (Or Project X as it was known then) second inversion was completed at the time. I was dead upset about it lol.

Looks better than G-Force :P
This is my last Comment or View of TTF. I\'ve had enough of all this geek stuff, Im not worrying about theming or story\'s or landscaping, smoothness or what a ride is like compared to another. To just enjoy the roller coasters as fun and adrenalin filled.

Not liking it all that much doesnt look very professional, although the videos are better on rides alot bigger and they dont seem to freeze :) .

Ok, I can now explore the ''new'' website.

Looks very sub-standard, and but at least better than the old layout in my opinion.

The 'Welcome' Video, is ok-ish, the choice of music is awful :P

I can see many similarities with other Theme Park Websites. Alton and Drayton Websites both have a main central animation and alike Thorpe, the Drayton Website allows a visitor to 'review' a ride, which very tacky IMO.
