Really? TBH, it's one of the better queue lines but nothing special. The outside cattle pen lets it down!

I too love Hex as it's much more real and authentic than any of Disney's attractions, although mission:space really builds up the tension very well.

Also Duel inside isn't half bad

Tower of Terror (WDW, FL) is excellent detailed themeing! That or Dueling Dragons.

I think i'd have to go with the Hex queue line. Love the attention to detail that has gone into the queue alone!

I'll go along with those Two. Shame I've never really had chance to look around it properly.

Hex for me!

Really sends shivers down my spine, and there is so much detail which can be missed you don't take a proper look!

I am not really in a position to compare with America, but here goes some good theming in queue lines I have experience of. Unfortunately, they are all in Europa-Park... Sorry to seeminly always give it to them, but that's the way it is. I would also mention pirates of the carribean at Disneyland Paris - stunning.

So here goes.

Atlantica Super-Splash was given a new entrance area in 2006, in the shape of the Santa Marian - a truly stunning re-creation of a traditional sailing ship. You queue inside and are greeted with spitting (yes, they really do spit) Pirates and animatronics. Then you go into a Portugese Citadel, with a great view of the ride itself.

Secondly, i am going with Poseidon. I think it's true to say that for me, the Water rides Poseidon & Atlantica represent the best queueline theming I have ever witnessed.

Wow awww good old dan and his EP fanboying!

:D

It looks brilliant, shows how other parks can install brililant theming, even when they are in the same market as Alton.

They really do lag behind in this aspect

I really do apologise for always seeming to put EP down in these theming polls, but I can only be honest. I may have a fanboy-streak in me regarding the park, but I'd never been before 2004 and the theming took such a hold on me that it just pulls me in every time :P.

You can clearly see from the detail in the photographs the effort - and expense - the park goes to in order for rides to look good. Considering Atlantica's queue in 2005 was already exemplary, to go back and install a sailing ship just to queue in was really something.
