Which ride gets you the most wet?

Simple question, lets see what you all think, out of the UK's five big water rides which has soaked you the most of which you have been on? :)

Please vote, say what you voted for and why!

Stormforce is my favourite ride at DM, and it does get you drenched! at the back, surprise surprise especially on the 'backwards' drop

I've only been on valhalla and tidal wave, but I've never been to blackpool on a warm enough day to ride valhalla without a poncho, so I can't really compare its wetness to tidal wave.

For me, the wetness factor of valhalla detracts from the rest of the ride slightly, but on tidal it makes the ride as its all about the splash.

Valhalla's wetness feels like a bit of an inconvenience. Even though it adds to the thrill of the ride, sometimes it's just too much.

Even though Tidal Wave is more guaranteed to soak you every time though - so I voted for the ride at Thorpe.

I’d be pretty surprised if anyone who has been on all of the above votes anything other than Tidal Wave!
It’s the fact almost every time I go on it my feet are swimming in water even though I’m wearing shoes that makes me reluctant to ride it

I voted for Valhalla because i have only done Stormforce and Valhalla out of the lot. Tidal Wave looks wet but Valhalla has three drops. The first of which if you in the back soaks you. The Second drenches you whereever your sat and then your wet enough, but no. More soaking effects and monstrous third drop soak you to the point where you can get no wetter. It just keeps coming at you to make sure you wont be getting of dry. :P

Although i do think the wetness detracts greatly from the overall experience.

I've only done Valhalla and Tidal Wave. Whilst wearing a coat on Tidalwave i was absolutely soaked. Luckily i dried off really quick and i usually bring spare clothes with me, i just need to bring spare shoes.

Stormforce 10, don't sit at the back if you want to get drenched. I had no choice where I sat so I got soaked through on the backwards drop.

I would have to say Tidal Wave. The only one of the obove rides i've not been on is Hydro. Ok, it might not be a wise idea to vote before you've ridden all the rides, but i can safely say this time that Tidal Wave is the wettest of them all.

Valhalla gets my vote. It has water coming from every angle which ensures that not one patch of you remains dry.

Before today I would have voted Tidal Wave, but having just spent the day at Drayton Manor and getting unbelievably wet on Stormforce 10 this now gets my vote.

Like many have already said I sat at the back and got a huge wave over the top of me on the backwards drop. I was still wet 8 hours after riding!

Lost River ride, well a few weeks ago at least.

Normally not too wet at all, but the resevoir must have been very full or something on my last visit as we got absolutely drenched. Probably why the front row was closed off that day.

There wasn't a dry patch on us. None of my clothes dried fully for the rest of the day and there was a nasty breeze as well, so we were freezing.

Of course, we could have just been unlucky but I'm certain that it was nowhere near that wet on my last two visits

Shame - as the water is vile, or at least it was. Is it still green?

:yikes:
