Sky rollers

Thu Aug 22, 2013 10:13 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone seen these Sky roller coasters from Gerstlauer?

Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG8u36aaW84

It looks like great fun, the person in front was having a laugh I bet, haha..

Cheers

Yes, I was also looking at these but I saw this concept online for Chessy to get one
It's actually a sky fly but it does virtually the same thing

I'm sure I went on something like this about 15 years ago at Flamingo Land - called Top Gun.

It had a joystick that let you electronically control the revolutions.

Oh my gosh that video made me feel sick, I don't think I quite like the idea of randomly swinging around in the sky!

Top Gun was a problem-prone, unsighlty one-off Intamin contraption, and I always found it to be largely pointless. I did however really enjoy Nigloland's Gerst Sky Fly, and I adore the notion of one of these machines with lapbars, as recently opened at NU. <3
